Leadership is defined as many things: leading by example, leading from the front, tutelage and helpfulness, courage and determination. Talos has been a stellar example of all of these traits and more in the run up to, and during, the recent Great Jedi War. He began his tenure as Aedile of House Galeres by throwing himself into the deep end. Astonishingly, he came out the other side running, pushing forward with projects in Galeres such as Wiki revamps and aiding the Erinos family with their own Wikipedia history. He has been instrumental in keeping the House going, acting as Quaestor in many periods due to the real life restraints on Celahir. During this time, he never faltered, adapting and developing his own leadership techniques to support the house and to ensure that every member was not only rewarded and praised, but that they remained active.
In the past year, Talos has earned three Anteian Crosses from the Arconan summit for his impressive work as a member, and a Dark Cross for helping the FIST with some training maps. All this was completed off his own back, as a member of the general ranks within House Arcona. This level of dedication clearly exemplified his passion for Arcona and the Dark Brotherhood, which then transcended into his work as an Aedile within Galeres.
His job as Aedile of Galeres was, in essence, administration. This was a task he excelled at to the point of expansion, branching out into areas under the Quaestorâs jurisdiction in order to ensure the house was fully maintained at all times. This, coupled with his approachable and friendly nature made for an exceptional leader. His willingness to undertake any task and his ability to work under enormous pressure (as exhibited in the run up to the GJW) is unfathomable. Galeres never has a bad word to utter about him.
His tenacity and his helpfulness were on display during the weeks in the lead up to the war. He was assigned, along with the Qel-Droman Aedile Invictus, the task of logging every member of Galeres, their strengths, their weaknesses, their favoured platform (Fiction, ACC, Gaming, etcetera), all of which was completed within a week and with remarkably detailed results. He also took it upon himself to rouse the House in the run up to the war with his frequent emails and responses and his constant support of the membership to strive for better. This was clearly exemplified in Zero Week, wherein, his participation in the Debate Event was imperative to Arconaâs success, resulting in him acquiring a Gold Nova. He was always present during the war, always willing to speak to the membership and always happy to go about any task without as much as a grumble. His obedience and his calm approach were soothing in the bowels of the Summitâs discussion rooms, wherein he emerged as a voice of reason.
His dedication to the Arconan War effort was astounding, picking up two Gold Novae, a Silver Nova, and a Bronze Nova, whilst always aiding and helping the membership. Most impressive was his dedication to the Arconan Wiki effort, wherein, it was Talosâ literary skill that saved the metaphorical day when he stepped in to proof read reams and reams of pages, editing them heavily to ensure Arconaâs entries were the best they could possibly be. His dedication and his tenacity has been on show for a while now; his determined and thoughtful attitude a breath of fresh air in Arcona. His presence is sorely missed when he is not present (and our workload almost triples). He is, by every account, the quintessential Arconan.
His current Aedileship within Galeres more than covers the requirement for Obelisk Prelate (having served in the position since May), and the volume of his activity and the extent of his leadership more than underpins the move for his promotion.
It is for these reasons that I recommend Talos Erinos for the rank of Obelisk Prelate.

Where to start with Zach, back in may we were talking about resigning with both of us having our real lives eating away our time. But we stayed, with real life deciding to take away my internet for nearly 3 months in June, and without even thinking about himself, Zach took over leading the house on his own. It was not that I didn't expect him to do so, or that I thought he wasn't capable, but I think it's important to note that Zach had just started college and he didn't have an awful lot of time left to do DB-Work. This is just a small example of Zach's dedication to the DB and our Clan.
Next to being acting Quaestor for a near three months, Zach's written several reports as Quaestor. He updated and complete revamped the format and content of the House Galeres wiki page, and next to that he wrote and updated the article for the Summit Guard of Arcona. Not only did he personally come up with an idea for the Galeres fictional cover, but he ended up writing a high quality, very detailed proposal for it, which in turn got approved in no time. In more wiki-sexiness he's also written the article for "Arcona Army Corps" which ended up being picked as Featured Article for September 2011.
As Aedile he also ran several comps, and was a great help in the planning and guiding of the Run-On event for GJW X. Last but not least he also spearheaded and later assisted in the fictional background and history of Galeres' latest battleteam, Revenance Virtuom.
These are just the the duties Zach has fullfilled as Aedile, recently he took on Socorra as his apprentice who's aleady a Jedi Hunter. As I often say lead by example, which is something Zach does without a doubt. Even with college flaring up during the war, his activity didn't go down. I could go on and on about how much I think he deserves this promotion, but I won't, because ultimately I believe that everything that has to be said has been said already.
Zach, you more then deserve this promotion and I'm very happy and thankful to have you as my Aedile and close friend. Congratulations!
