As a newly minted Quaestor of our Independent House of Scholae Palatinae, Xen has led by example by participating in a variety of Brotherhood, clan/house, and team wide events. Since his last promotion, has participated in a Great Jedi War, two Rites of Supremacy, and the Disorder War. His dedication to increasing his knowledge of both the Star Wars galaxy and the Brotherhood have led Xen to earning 3 Dark Mavens as well as the completion of a number of Shadow Academy courses. The Quaestor has also earned over a dozen crescents and various merit medals in the four years since his last promotion. While activity isnât a prerequisite of being a good leader, it does show that he is attempting to lead our House from the front lines instead of being a figurehead.
While serving as one of the Magistrates to the Headmaster, Xen was primarily concerning with improving the artwork within the Shadow Academy including the degrees which were propagated during this time period. This interest in the affairs of the Brotherhood at large has served him well as he moved up to lead our IH over the past few months.
Another recent accomplishment of Xen was the successful running of Operation: Neutralization which had a participation rate of almost 70% of the post AWOL membership. This helped conclude the long running subplot of Scholae Palatinaeâs destruction of the terrorist group, The Cause, that hand been running operations in the Cocytus System.
The guiding of an apprentice to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight is an important requirement for a member of the Brotherhood, and Xen was up to that challenge. His mentorship of Eether was outstanding, and his apprentice has continued to be an active member of my battleteam, the Nightstalkers. Xen instilled within his apprentice the knowledge that is needed to be successful in the Brotherhood as well as the need for activity within the group.
Xen is learning how to become an effective Quaestor, and he has been leading the charge with a number of initiatives within our House including using social media such as Twitter to increase both our numbers and that of the Brotherhood at large.

Since being back in HSP, I have noticed that Xen has been an exceptional leader! While directing new apprentices in the right direction, he has become a solid stone in keeping Scholae Palatinae alive.
With my own recent recruitment drive, I wouldnât have been able to do it without Xen. With his determination for greatness for the house, he keeps my moral high and helps me look towards HSP being CSP again.
If anyone deserves a promotion, It would be him.

As the Aedile of a House, I am often privy to information that does not filter down to the general population. The behind-the-scenes work often goes unnoticed and unappreciated. This is where the majority of Xen's work has been, unfortunately.
Xen has worked tirelessly to revamp Scholae Palatinae into the jewel in the crown of a new Empire. His vision of this new Empire has inspired many of the House, including myself, to action. I would go so far as to say that the spike in activity we're experiencing is almost solely his doing.
All this tireless work comes in spite of being in college, and various RL problems and distractions. He is truly an example of what the Dark Brotherhood leaders should be, and I hope that he will one day lead Clan Scholae Palatinae.

Aedile of House Scholae PalatinaeSith Battlemaster Xen'Mordin has been House Scholae Palatinae Quaestor in arguably its toughest times. And yet he has managed to revitalize the House and setting it on the road to a stronger recovery. He puts others ahead of himself in spite of major real life responsibilities. Xen is certainly one of Scholae's best members and a fine leader. It's been a sheer honor to work with him as a fellow leader. It's not a matter of 'if' Scholae retains Clanhood, but when. He is a pillar to the success of the House and we definitely couldn't have made it this far with out him.
Xen has held numerous positions since his last promo like BTL for Souls of Darkness, Blades of Chaos, Aedile and Quaestor for House Acclivis Draco, Aedile and remains the current Quaestor of Scholae Palatinae. In addition, he was Magistrate for the HM. he has earned a plethora of awards such as a Seal of Return, Seal of Loyalty, Seal of Defiance x6, Seal of Bone x2, Seal of Pain, Crescent with Topaz Star x2, Crescent with Amethyst Star, Crescent with Sapphire Star x3, Crescent with Emerald Star, Crescent with Quartz Star, Crescent with Ruby Star x3, Legion of the Scholar x2, Scroll of Foundation, Cluster of Ice x6, Bronze Nova, Steel Cross x3, Dark Cross, and an Anteian Cross. He managed to put together The Neutralization, a three week long house event that led to stronger activity in the House.
He is dedicated and loyal to Scholae Palatinae and will do anything to ensure its continued success. Xen has more than earned his elevation to Battlelord.

Xenâmordin Vismorsus is the future of the Clan. When I first met Xen, he was young. When I met Xen again, he had aged and learned the value of work. He dedicated himself to working hard, doing what he could, wherever he could. As one of the many that I consider to have taken under my wing, few have exceeded my expectations as much as Xen has. Seals of Loyalty have proved it all. He has acquired 3 seals of loyalty, heâs matched me!
Beyond that, Xen is the core of the leadership of Scholae Palatinae. He has inspired many people to work hard, in spite of the difficulties that face this unit. Xen has moved up through the ranks of leadership and has proven himself at every rung of that ladder. I am proud to say that Xen is our Emperor, and even more proud to call Xen a friend. His vision for Scholae Palatinae is to bring it back to being a clan, a sentiment that is near to the hearts of many in Scholae. Every day, Xen proves himself as an invaluable part of Scholae.
I would like to extend my congratulations to Xen. For hard work and a strong example, you have earned this one buddy. Congratulations!

There are those who just cruise through whatever they are given. They do the least of what is expected of them, the minimum requirements, and they do this just s that they can earn a comfortable living, free from challenge or risk. Then, there are those who go through life with their eyes open. Those that know that 'failure is not a possibility' also means that 'innovation must not happen'. These same aren't afraid of risk, aren't afraid to rock the boat, if it means that getting some of those rowers wet might remind them why being on the boat is a good thing.
Xen is one of these, from all that I have seen. Taking a house that, by all accounts, was struggling and losing it's footing, most men would have been content to put in a small bit of effort, maybe change a battle team name or two, run a half-hearted house event and then sulk off after it didn't miraculously fix things. Not Xen. Xen reached out, searching for the path to success through whatever means necessary. His work, not that of long-dormant elders and whining non-contributors, has changed a stagnating house into one that is nearly ripe for reclanning.
He looked at Scholae and saw not a situation that would mire him down, but as a time for him to make a name for himself, chiseling out his role with hard work and clarity of vision. And this work he took on gladly. Not for his own glory, but for the glory of that house that he loves. The work is ongoing, yet all of Scholae should feel doubly blessed to have such a man at the helm.
I have long held that 'leading from the front' is one of the surest ways to inspire loyalty and encourage your fellows to join you in the good fight, and Xen not only embraces this, but embodies it. Pages could be spent showing what he has done personally, between competitions, vendettas, and all other standard venues of activity. This speaks to most anyone who looks that he puts his money where his mouth is.
In recognition of this work, of this attitude, and this desire to make things better, I hereby promote Xen'Mordin Vismorsus. Please accept this as a token of our gratitude and respect.
