Vivackus has always been a few things to me. He's been a student, a helping hand, and a friend. In my time knowing Viv, I've seen an awkward and unfamiliar member grow into a skilled member of the DJB and a worthy addition to the Dark Council's staff. Just in his time as Combat Master, I've seen widespread improvement in the ACC. The judges under his command have grown more skilled and punctual, there is talk of a new rank system that he designed in the works, and we've seen the request for new venues and the addition of new rewards for ACC members. I've seen increased Combat Centre activity and a general increase of fun in the system.

Outside of the Combat Master position, of course, my latest tenure with Vivackus was serving both beneath him, as he held Proconsul of Clan Plagueis, and above him as Quaestor of House Plagueis. During both times, he gathered the members of the Clan and House to meet and discuss ideas. He gave us concepts for competitions and helped to get rid of old and defunct rules. Much of the Jusadih Military Regime system I use to reward my House members was his doing, seen in largest part in the point system used therein. It was he who spoke up and said that the system's existing point values were far too high, and it was he that assisted me in creating new values and conceptualizing rewards and ideas.

Also, he has helped me largely in other aspects of Plagueis. One would be the Rule of Two system I had originally devised for House Satal Keto, which will be modified to suit House Plagueis. He came to me with several suggestions, ideas, and concepts for the program, showing me which points of it to emphasize and helping me see which parts to remove. Next up is his work in the development of our House's next major enemy, the Disciples of the Living Force, a secretive Gray Jedi group within Jusadih. He had major parts in designing each DLF NPC, and in tying them together with PLA's old opposition, the Jusadih Independence Coalition. To add to this, he essentially edited and fixed up everything I had written for an event introducing this group to Clan Plagueis, a project we sadly had to set aside in order to fix up House Plagueis. Finally, during all of my work on the development of Jusadih's Dominion, Vivackus above all others served to advise me, correct me, edit my work, and suggest new and groundbreaking ideas. He was, is, and will likely continue to be my strongest critic, my greatest student, and the best source of ideas I've ever met.

This work, accompanying anything I haven't seen due to his work with the Voice of the Brotherhood, befits nothing less than an Equite Promotion. It brings me great joy and, fittingly, a chill of fear to see the student surpass his master. Great work, Vivackus. I'm proud to call you a member of my House.

Kal di Plagia Vorrac Quaestor of House Plagueis

For half a year Vivackus has been my right-hand-man in the Antei Combat Centre, learning the ropes of the ACC and flourishing. There is a highly steep learning curve when running the ACC, made even harder if you have never been previously on staff. However, Viv has taken it all in stride, leading the way in terms of activity when compared to the rest of the staff. He has diligently learned each aspect of the ACC, while also offering his own thoughts and opinions. He has laid out the plans for a new ranking system for the ACC; one that will truly show the skill levels of participants and bring a much richer experience for everyone involved. He has judged 21 battles during his time in the ACC while also managing to open over 50 individual battles. He has also updated the current ACC Basics Course and has been a sounding board on various other character-related issues that I may have. He has done all this without caring for any sort of title or prestige the position may give him. He is Combat Master without title, due to some coding issues, but he does his work not caring for the title itself. The work he does for the ACC is for use by the entire Dark Brotherhood, and he does this tirelessly.

This is all in addition to his previous work as an accomplished leader in Plagueis. He was Proconsul for a year before joining the ACC, and only stepped down from that position so that he may focus his energies on the ACC. His time as leader in Plagueis can easily be seen as a success, being bestowed the Clan title a testament to that fact. He has worked for the enjoyment of others for some time now, his own needs taking a back seat to the needs of others. I believe he is more than worthy of taking the next step as an Equite. Congratulations!

Jacob Van Nowak has been as active as one can expect from someone serving overseas. He has completed numerous Shadow Academy exams (CSP History, Pre-Republic History, GMRG History, Leadership Fundementals, Training Saber Basics), as well as submitting to several competitions (Battle Droid Design, Sentient Species Design, Taldryan Holiday Bash One-word Run-on).

He has completed the ACC Basics exam, and finished his Character sheet, as well as having been awarded a Crescent for competing in the Battle Droid Design competition. With this completed work, I believe that Jacob has earned a promotion to the rank of Protector!

I always find it a surprise when I look over the ATRs and see Talos’s. He’s such an unassuming yet integral part of the House that one often loverlooks the sheer amount of time and care he puts into a job. I’ll save the ‘He’s so awesome’ stuff for the summit, and get straight into the nitty-gritty. Since his last promotion, he has served as Qel-Droma Aedile for 5 weeks, House Arcona Rollmaster for 7 weeks, won three Trivia Comps (two Clan and one DB-wide, respectively), worked closely with Driftan Housan to produce an insanely detailed background to the Shadesworn Initiative, allocated current points to all members of the House under said Initiative, created ATRs for all the journeymen on one handy Excel doc to help future RMs, helped Marick del’Abbot put together Oblivion Brigade BT, Participated in the Disorder Vendetta, notably the ID Scan Week 3 (which he managed to place in), revamped and maintained his own wiki page, helped House Odan-Urr with its X channel registration, helped said new House by writing a fictional description of its Capital, participated in the Arcona/Tarentum RO “The King and the Gods”, wrote a fiction for Oblivion Brigade just for something to do, participated in the Operation: Junkyard DB-wide RO, took the GMRG SA course and was inducted into the Guard, and on top of that helped get Wuntila and Marick promoted by writing promotion recommendations. This list on its own warrants a promotion, however on top of this he is always around to help the summit out with various menial tasks that nobody wants to be saddled with, but he accepts them with affable grace and always produces results in a timely manner. He never causes trouble or strife for the summit or the DC, is always there to give a helpful pointer or two to newcomers to Arcona and constantly suggests new ideas and ways to help improve Arcona. This man needs recognition, as it has been over 6 months now since his last promotion. Well done, that man. – Sashar Arconae.

Talos is perhaps one of the nicest, most genuine individuals within Arcona, and possibly within the Brotherhood itself. His dedication to duties is unfaltering and he is always willing to give one-hundred and ten per cent. Not only is this exhibited in all of the attributes listed above by Sashar, but it is also present in all areas of input. Within the Arcona-Tarentum Run-On “The King and the Gods”, Talos made specific arrangements to take himself out of his comfort zone fictionally, and personally, writing alongside some of the esteemed members within the Tarentum roster. He is more than willing to help, as mentioned by Sashar, with the untouchable subjects that very few are willing to complete and he does so with such willingness that it is hard to call him anything other than a members of Arcona’s immediate family. Not only has Talos completed the aforementioned projects, he is also an integral part of Arcona and someone that would be noticed if missing. For his exceptional dedication to his role within Arcona, his membership within the Dark Brotherhood and for the eclectic range of projects he has helped to complete with such precision, I am more than happy to recommend Talos D’Tana for the rank of Sith Warrior . Congratulations Talos. You’ve more than earned it.

Wuntila, Aedile of House Arcona

Talos has been a valued and valuable member of Arcona for a while now, a fact that can sometimes be ignored because of his nature to stay in the background, working away. It is an attitude that is sadly lacking at times in the rest of the House, and it is an attitude that I feel deserves reward. He works hard and he does it without grumbling or holding his hand out waiting to be given a treat for every little thing he does. He’s timely, devoted and a nice guy in the bargain, but still that isn’t enough for Talos who then has the audacity to go out of his way to help out new members, work on new ideas with the summit as well as helping out when needed in roles such as Rollmaster in an official capacity. The cheek! Talos has been and is a fantastic member of Arcona; truly devoted and willing to put in more than his fair share of time and work for the betterment of the House. It has been too long since he has been fortunate enough to be rewarded for his work as has already been mentioned, and I can think of no-one more deserving than he. Talos, you’re fantastic and I hope you stick around for a long time as Arcona will need people like you now more than ever. Many congratulations, thoroughly deserved.

To Whom It May Concern: I write this recommendation with much pleasure. In the months that I have known and served as master to Jedi Hunter Eetherbiail, I have found a good friend and hard worker. While I know he feels that I give him a lot of crap and prod him a lot to move along, I hope he knows I value his presence here in Scholae Palatinae. Masters wait for this day with an eager heart and with great anticipation. It is with great honour I recommend Eetherbiail be promoted to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight.

When Eether joined approx. 8 months ago, I was very excited to see such an eager and willing member, as so many just join and disappear. Eether has not stopped showing a strong desire to advance and serve either. A prime example of this was his service during the Disorder Vendetta. He participated in 10 events, and help secure a 3rd place for his teams Battle-plan. In the months since earning Jedi Hunter he has also played many games, earning multiple CFs and a Steel Cross, which is a very great accomplishment. Beyond excellent participation in events, Eether is a regular on IRC, something we try very hard to imbed in our Journeymen.

Here is the summation of his completed requirements for DJK:

Have spent over 6 weeks as a Jedi Hunter Have a merit award Have a crescent He has participated in over 15 total events including a multitude of ones during the Vendetta and many gaming ones Completed 2 Leadership Exams (Fundamentals and Studies) Ran a competition (Crossover a Harry Potter meets SW Fiction) Earned more then 40 CFs (He has 143) Complete a final fiction task, in this case a joint Run-On with myself in which he received his own lightsaber crystal and prevent dangerous Intel from being sent to the Hutts (Full story is here: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6138) For his House Summit Task Eether was charged with: 1) Compiling a total participation count from the HSP 5 year running 1-Word Run-on found on the forums 2) Compile the run-on into one text document to so the entire story could be seen 3) Run and maintain at least 2 forum competitions to promote forum activity a. Treasure Hunt: A find a certain object from a clue and post it b. 5 word run-on (About Zombies and which has many House members participating) These requirements all have been completed and he has fulfilled that which is needed for a promotion to DJK. I write this recommendation in favour of the elevation of Eetherbiail to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Since his last promotion, Eether performed exceptionally well in the "Order War" as he earned 10 seals in honour of his participation. For his efforts, he was also awarded a Steel Cross and numerous Clusters of Fire for his combat on the field of battle. Eether has been a valuable member of my battleteam, and I congratulate him on his ascension to the pinnacle of the journeyman ladder.

Xen spoke of the Trials required to be completed before a Knighthood can be awarded and of how his Apprentice Eetherbiail completed all those before him. Dante spoke of the active Team member who earned a Steel Cross in the “Order War” by attaining 10 Seals. I will however speak of the highly motivated member of House Scholae Palatinae. Eetherbiail is a relatively constant on IRC and always willing to help others. He is nearly always in a good mood, and while that in and of itself does not merit a promotion, it still factors into the promotion. Considering most arguments towards this promotion have been mentioned already, I will keep this brief. All I wish to add to the two recommendations (seen above) is that I believe Eether to be that which we wish to see in all our members, i.e. a relatively carefree and happy member that is more interested in enjoying himself then in advancing through the ranks of the DB. I wish there were more Eetherbiail’s in the Brotherhood! I recommend Eetherbiail for a promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight.

Since his last promotion, Sutekh has been a very active member, proving his worth within Taldryan. Starting with his combat skills, he has taken and passed the ACC basics course, and has had a Character Sheet approved by the Combat Master.

Continuing with his knowledge within the Brotherhood, Sutekh has taken the Star Fighters Studies, Astronomy Studies, and the Sith Core, passing all of them with stellar grades.

Added along with the above, Sutekh has continued to prove his willingness to delve deeper into the way of Taldryan and the Brotherhood by competing in these 3 competitions: "What is it?", "THB One-Word Run-On", and "THB Caption Competition".

As if that was not enough, Sutekh has become a regular on the Taldryan and DB nicklist, making his name as someone more than willing to voice his opinion and just have fun. The same can be true for his Message Board and Email activity. Given his amount of activity it's no wonder why he's being promoted to the rank of Protector in such a short time. It's well deserved, and I am proud to award this promotion to Sutekh'Sithari!
