Simply put, Ronovi is a DB juggernaut. She's one of those people who is almost literally always on IRC and is always up to something. Ronovi is always approachable and strives to be familiar with all members of the Clan, not only the Summits. She has guided Clan Tarentum through tumultuous times with a steady hand; from the end of necromancy to the closure of the Old Houses to our new military and new system of government in Yridia, Ronovi has been the primary author of it all.
Change for its own sake isn't enough, however. Lasting change demands purpose, and that is what Ronovi has given us. In a Clan steeped in tradition, it can be difficult to break out of the ruts and provide members with something truly unique, interesting and engaging while still respecting the established culture and myth. In my years with the Clan I have seen us undergo immense change, yet we have not abandoned our roots in the process. Ronovi has been the driving factor in this carefully controlled incremental change. Without her leadership, guidance, enthusiasm and vision we would not be half the Clan we are today.

Ronovi has served Tarentum with distinction as an ever-advancing member of the summit. In less than two years, she has served as Aedile and Quaestor of Cestusâthe most active House before the Clanâs restructuringâand then transitioned to Proconsul and Consul, in which position she continues to serve. Ronovi has acted as both carrot and whip for the lower-positioned summit members, to which I can personally attest. As time has passed, she has figured out more and more of the true meaning of leadership, despite inevitable bumps with other members along the way. I give my approval to this award for her efforts.

Although I have only known Ronovi since she has taken over as Consul of Tarentum, it has become clear to me in a very short amount of time just how much effort she puts into both her Clan and this club. She has been tireless in her efforts to further develop the fictional elements of the Clan, by both re-working many of the wiki articles for the Clan as well as writing pages upon pages of high-quality fiction. The plot she has been writing for use by the Clan is of the highest quality, and some of the best I've seen around the club through my years. On top of that she has continued to play an active role in the DB, always receptive to working with those outside of her Clan, and throwing her own efforts in to help better this club as a whole. What has truly impressed me however is her drive to try and reform the culture of her Clan, ensuring that all are welcome. It is an extremely tough line to walk, and while it won't always be successful, the very fact that she is attempting such a thing should be highly commended. It is a rare things these days to find a leader who truly leads by example. She has shown these traits, and it is not a fact that I state lightly. She is deserving of this elevation.

I've worked with Ronovi for a very long time. First as a Rollmaster, then her Aedile, then a Quaestor when she was on the Clan Summit and finally under her as PCON. Not only has Ronovi been an extremely capable leader during her tenure in various summit jobs, she's also been a great friend. Despite several bumps and bruises along the way, there is nobody in the DB I would rather work with than Ronovi. Out of the slew of 8 or 9 members who joined Tarentum in December of 2007 Ronovi has not only made it the furthest, but also shone the brightest, earning herself some major placements in Vendettas and a place among the Tarentae.
Since her last major award Ronovi has led Tarentum through some major events. As Proconsul under Oberst she took the reigns during the Rite of Supremacy and led Tarentum to a respectable 5th, coming out on top of our major rivals Clan Plagueis and Clan Scholae Palatinae. However, she was never too busy coordinating Tar's efforts or correcting peoples' writing to participate herself which resulted in a Gold Nova for the clan. Once the Vendetta finished she worked with Oberst to ensure that everyone was awarded for their participation in a timely manner, doling out almost a dozen merit medals to Tarentum's most active and prolific participants. She also immediately began working on the house restructure to further benefit Tarentum. In an epic move which profoundly affected Tarentum's lore, the old houses were done away with and, under her and Oberst's leadership, House Kaerner and House Reinthaler were born.
Once Oberst had retired as Consul Ronovi took the reins and did not slow a bit. She continued working on the multitude of projects she had previously been involved with, but also expanded her devotion to the Clan and Brotherhood by taking on even more. She oversaw the revamp of Tarentum's ground and space forces, the creation of many new NPCs, a political revolution in the Yridia System, and the completion of her first story arc as Consul.
It has been and I'm sure will continue to be a pleasure to work with her.

Ronovi is my master, and a masterful one at that. She has given me real opportunities to work toward DJK, with realistic goals and progressive activities, rather than just a list of random goals, busy work, and "You'll see." Ronovi cares about her apprentices, actively checking on and assisting them as best she can with any obstacles they've encountered, rather than asking them occasionally to "do something." Her versatility has further improved her mastery in the field of being a master; unlike me, she's a writer, not a gamer, but she has adapted to my style, teaching and guiding me accordingly. Needless to say, Ronovi is an excellent master who cares about her students, cares about the quality her teachings and guidance, and is active and compassionate when it comes to making sure that her apprentices reach DJK as quickly and painlessly as possible, despite the seemingly-Draconian requirements. Without Ronovi's intervention and tutelage, I'd still be lost without a clue, suffering under the wandering eye of my previous master.
