Churchill once said, âThe sign of greatness is responsibility.â There are few within the Brotherhood that I could attribute that quote to. Many Iâve had the chance to work with directly. Many more I have not had the chance to. Ronovi Tavisaen is one of the few Iâve had to work with. Since joining Tarentum, sheâs sought to push herself and those around her beyond their self imposed limits on potential. In her is someone many have looked to as the future of this Clan, and quite possibly the Brotherhood. Her drive and sense of duty in an organization that functions on volunteer hours is not only commendable, but astounding.
Since her last promotion, during a Great Jedi War that saw her shine as one of our very best, she set new limits and tasks for herself. As a Quaestor, I saw her fill a role I once filled, as someone whom others could look to for answers and guidance as an unofficial third Clan Summit. Her reorganization of Cestus saw it go from the least of Tarentumâs three houses to its greatest. And as a former Summit of Tridens, that is quite a difficult thing to admit. But more than Cestus, her actions were inspiration for the other Houses. She has had a hand, indirect and direct, in training and being the champion of future and current Summits in Tridens and Gladius.
Her drive for the Clan could be summed up as a drive towards perfection. Something no Clan and no one person can ever attain, yet it is the only way to summarize her work. It is not just greatness, because greatness would mean she does her job, executed with a grace and style that would leave Thomas Keller and Ferran Adria hungry for more. No, it is perfection because she takes so much more unto herself than could be expected and uses it to inspire through writings and ideas.
Along with Ji Kâawiil, she has proven to be an invaluable research tool for me. Filling in my knowledge of the Star Wars universe where itâs lacking and serving as a barometer of the Clanâs moods and wills. But unlike Ji, she is a more tempering and moderate voice. She slips into a role that Bloodfyre once filled, that of the Clanâs moderator. Her work allows me to toy with more esoteric ideas for the Clan, and then bring them to reality by finding that missing middle ground between my view and the views of the members. Her work with Ansharâs âBrokenâ storyline and our follow up âBroken: The Final Chapterâ best embodies this. She took two storylines and helped me find a way to tie in the new Clan powers. Many who worked tirelessly on it will miss the loss of necromancy, but she has allowed it a swan song.
Ronoviâs responsibilities have slowly evolved from just Cestus to Tarentum, and now they seek to expand to the Brotherhood as a whole. Working with Sashar and Ji, sheâs brought a steady writerâs hand to foster better ties between Tarentum and Arcona, their work being lauded by Sashar. It is no easy feat to step outside the comfort zone of your Clan to work with others who have had a different point of view and vision of a Clan and a Brotherhood.
And through it all Ronovi has been a Champion for her Clan and its members. Quietly, by handling matters swiftly and without notice. Vocally, by challenging its detractors head on and showing her mettle.
So, for her work for Tarentum, I, Maxamillian von Oberst-Tarentae, Consul of Clan Tarentum, PYRG, hereby request the promotion of Ronovi Tavisaen to Obelisk Prelate
Since transferring to Cestus to take up the reins as Aedile under Kazarelth, Runofi has been extremely active and has taken a leading roll in the development of all aspects of House Cestus. She ran countless competitions and several fiction-furthering runons during her time on the summit not to mention leading the way for the entire clan during the Ninth Great Jedi War earning herself a gold nova. Since her promotion to Equite 1 she and I have worked very closely on the development of Cestus and several units in the Tarentum Military. She has always amazed me with her profound creativity and never-ending well of inspiration.

There are few members that actually do work for the betterment of their clan, of our club, that when one appears, we are almost shocked and confused as to how to best handle them. Ronovi is one such member. Since she joined Tarentum, she has been a dynamic force within that clan, helping refine projects, helping coordinate member's efforts, and pushing for a stronger clan..and by proxy, a stronger brotherhood. I am pleased to be able to add my bit to the words of esteemed Tarentae in calling for her elevation in rank, and wish to thank her for all the work that she has already done.
