Never before have I seen a Protector more worthy of a promotion than Driftan Housan. Since arriving in the Brotherhood, he has stepped up to the plate in a major way, and has begun to take on growing roles within the Clan.

It has been exactly four weeks since Driftan was promoted to PRT, but for him time was merely a formality. He's become a familiar presence on IRC, matching up well with the rest of Arcona's interesting characters, keeping up with the banter and providing excellent insights when the situation demands it.

Driftan has completed eleven (11) exams since his last promotion, including all the CORE exams, CoJ, and Leadership Fundamentals. He has also earned two degrees, Philosophy and History. He has participated in essentially every competition available to him since joining the Brotherhood, and has placed in almost all of them.

Arcona's newest Battleteam Leader is also in the process of qualifying in the Antei Combat Center, having completed his character sheet. Driftan has started his wiki page, and is also working on the wiki page for his new Battleteam, Shadow Gate. He recently ran a successful competition for the Clan, hopefully the first of many.

Overall, Driftan's superiors have very high hopes for a budding young leader, and I would like to be the first to congratulate him on becoming a Guardian, and wish him many more promotions.

Inarya has demonstrated a considerable amount of activity to earn promotion to the next rank. I am honoured to be able to preside over this elevation, as Inarya will be moving to the next rank of Jedi Hunter. Since her last elevation she has completed the requirements set forth by the Master at Arm’s. She has been active on IRC and shown her presence consecutively on her clan channel.

She has also earned herself a merit medal which was in the form of an Antei Cross, as well as finding the time to participate in ten competitions including in placing in three of them. She completed the following competitions: Plagueis House Feud: Gaming 1, Plagueis House Feud: Gaming 2, Plagueis House Feud: Fiction Week 1, Orders Run-on 9th GJW, Week 3 Fiction Event – Poetry “Helpless” Week 3 Miscellaneous Event: Graph Event – “Know your Enemy”, Week 5 Fiction Event Poetry –“Potent Ink”, Who Do you Love?, Poetry with Force, Graphics Warm up, GJW RO for Clan Plagueis.

She has gained a Crescent with Sapphire Star She also got a second place for gaming in the Clan Plagueis house feud. She has also completed a five page character fiction which expanded and developed her character into more detail. Also Inarya has managed to earn 60 Cluster’s of Fire.

I am requesting that Arack Tavar be promoted to the rank of Protector as he has fulfilled the requirements by participating in several competitions, taking several Shadow Academy courses, obtaining a Dark Maven degree in General History in the process, is currently participating in two Run-Ons at present, and has written a 10 page fiction for character development. This combined with an active IRC presence and constant communication with me via email and IRC, convinces me that he is now suited for advancement to Protector.

A promotion to Dark Jedi Knight is a great step in the career of a member. The rank is indicative of a great amount of dedication over a prolonged period of time. It is with honor that I recommend Kodais for this promotion today. Kodais has been at the rank of Jedi Hunter for almost a year now, due mostly to his periodic deployment as a member of the US military. Yet, he has three Dark Crosses as well as a plethora of Crescents. Kodais competed in the following 15 competitions: "We Love Cake: the Game of Epic-near-Chaos Fail," "Works of Reverence: Emperor's Storeroom," "Shadow Academy Competition," "Satal's Knowledge," "The Dark Traveler Saga: A Tale of Treachery," "Plagueis Monthly ACC Duel," Placing third in the ACC Section of the Arcona/Satal Keto feud, "[HSK] Who’s that in there?," "Dark Traveler: Act Three," "CSK System Creation Competition: Part 1," "Dear Diary Competition," "[CP] The Honor Guard," "Dark Traveler Saga: Act One," "Who's in there" and "Raining Blood" He recently ran the competition "Pay Day" for Clan Plagueis as well. As a Summit Task, Kodais was tasked with going through Clan Plagueis' activity tracker email, sorting through, and filing the entire system, which was roughly 6 months behind on maintenance. He completed this task promptly and efficiently. Kodais has also earned three Dark Side Degrees, written a lightsaber creation story, and finished the 10 pages of character fiction, and subsequently emailed it to me for reading. Tier-Avis Nami has completed the requirements for the rank of Dark Jedi Knight as deemed necessary by the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. This request has been approved by both the Cestus house summit and the Tarentum clan summit.

Nami has shocked me. Before any negative connotations are possibly taken, let me explain. First, he has shocked me in terms of his amazing amount of activity. In fact, his very first act of activity when he joined the Brotherhood was not merely signing onto IRC, not simply taking an SA course - but creating a wiki page. He received his first promotion in one day, beyond all expectations for him. Since then, he has been honored as a Fist of Cestus each month for his vast amounts of work; and his merit and competition medals stand as a tribute to his skills.

He has also shocked me in terms of his brilliant writing skills. Nami's fiction has been some of the most impressive I have seen in a long time. His house summit task was a run-on, and a darn good one in the end. He consistently contributes to Cestus history and fiction development. All the while, he is a qualified ACCer, has earned several SA degrees, has written over ten pages of fiction, and has written a stellar wiki article.

There are many more things I can mention that have impressed me as Nami has progressed, but it would make this recommendation far too long. But what I will mention is something I find to be incredibly important to one's progress in the DJB. The rank of DJK is an incredibly valued and honored rank, one yearned for by many thriving Journeymen. But in the grand scheme of things, it is still nothing compared to the positions and ranks one could achieve. Being a DJK, in a sense, is still being a beginner at the game - when one becomes a Knight, he has proven that he can follow the basics. Now he must go beyond the basics.

I hope that Nami will consider his promotion as not an end, but a beginning - a stepping stone into the larger part of the Brotherhood. And in many ways, he's already started thinking ahead - he has voiced interest in becoming the next BTL of the Nightwraiths, as well as future leadership positions that should open up. I know this remark is not really of my own creation, but the only thing that will obstruct Nami from his goals now is himself. He has cleared the obstacle course set out for him - now he must triumph the natural hindrances to his imminent glory.

It is the honor of the house summit to bestow upon Tier-Avis Nami the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, and the gratitude of the clan to welcome him fully into our "august fraternity." Congratulations, Nami.

Since joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood Tier Avis has been more active than any other member of Cestus, journeyman or otherwise. He's a stand-up guy and has grown a great deal as a member while here. His writing has improved dramatically and his participation in fiction has been outstanding from the get go. I can think of nobody in Tarentum who deserves a promotion to DJK as much as Nami does.

Tier-Avis Nami completely missed the Great Jedi War this winter/spring. He did not exist as a Dark Jedi. He had no opportunity to prove himself among his brethren, no chance to triumph over others, no chance to lead by example. During a time when even the most steadfast admit slow times (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/viewreport.asp?ID=13057), Nami has shined.

One cannot sit idly by as Nami works. Those that do are quickly forgotten. He has inspired me, a veteran of many wars, climes, and professions, to travel to new heights. His amazing ascendancy into power is the stuff masters dream of - and fear. Nami's more than once bested me in battle, something I am proud and embarrassed to admit. When I see into his future with the Brotherhood, I cannot help but feel excited about the hurt he will bring to those under his heel.

Nami's Master's Trial has alarmed me. Cast out into the loneliness he will come to prefer, I challenged him to unravel a mystery in a hybrid detective story/fiction. Not only did Tier nail every single clue with zero complaint to his master or inaccuracy, but he went beyond the immediate plot and expanded the universe, character development, and challenged me to continue the story at the caliber he had continued it.

Tier-Avis Nami is more than ready to yield a lightsaber. Woe to those that will see him use it. Woe, I feel, like so many masters before, I will soon feel.
