The epilogue references the news post by Consul Darkhawk, “A New Knight Rises” written by Proconsul Muz Ashen. It includes a fictional ceremony for Veil’s knighting that I wanted to capture as part of this story. While the general flow of that story and the dialogue is used, I did rewrite it for my own purposes. I have also contacted both Darkhawk and Muz to receive permission to make use of it. I wasn’t sure how this would count towards the plagiarism rules for competitions, so I wanted to make special mention of it.
