The IG-100 MagnaGuard is a battle droid designed to combat Jedi opponents through the use of an electrostaff. It is humanoid in design and extremely adaptable, capable of fighting through the loss of limbs and even its head.
IG-000 "Vega" has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this IG-100 MagnaGuard to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
IG-000 "Vega" has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
IG-000 "Vega" has been programmed with slightly improved combat protocols, allowing it to perform slightly better in multiple combat scenarios when compared to other IG-100 MagnaGuards.
IG-000 "Vega" has been fitted with basic waterproof seals on its joints and openings, allowing this IG-100 MagnaGuard to be submerged in water without suffering catastrophic damage
