The Electro-staff is a pole-like melee weapon The duralloy shaft is strong enough to block bladed and blunt weapons, but when activated, the electrically charged tips on either end of the staff can withstand and hold up against strikes from a lightsaber. Beyond this, the tips can be set to either a "stun" setting or a deadly discharge that could stop a sentient's heart after five full seconds of contact.

The handle of this weapon is equipped with a generator that sends constant electromagnetic pulses to the weapon's striking surface during use.
