Kalei Basai is someone that you want on your side no matter what. I planned this feud months ago and Kalei was by my side during the initial stages and helped me generate a basic storyline. What she didn't expect was that this storyline she created was going to be a feud, and when she was given a chance to return to the Battle Team she started in as well as was the Battle Team leader for, she immediately jumped at the opportunity. In the end Kalei participated as much as she could to help her team win the Gold, but sadly the Night Hawk's did not. She wound up placing in Week 2's Flash game while also participating in both weeks, Trivia, Sudoku, and even participated in the Run On and Week 2's Poem. She was able to earn a total of 10 points during the feud, and for her actions in the Feud I wish to award her a Dark Cross. Congrats Kalei! -OT Fremoc Pepoi

Considering her real life circumstances, Kalei's activity during the RoS and otherwise has been frankly amazing; despite giving birth during the RoS, Kalei was still able to enter seven events, making her level of participation one of the highest in the Clan. Although the birth caused her to sit out the end of the RoS, this is entirely understandable, and Kalei's level of activity and encouragement to other members prior to that was excellent. Before the RoS, Kalei was eager for projects to work on, and has helped both myself and Fremoc out with some of our projects; for me, she wrote a sizable chunk of articles for the new CNS Website that we're working on, and she exercised her coding skills to help Fremoc get an online library for House Marka Ragnos up and running. Adding to the above, the dedication shown by Kalei was extraordinary to say the least. Having a baby is something that kind of sucks your activity dry during a Vendetta...but this didn't stop her from cleaning house with those seven events and helping us rock. A Steel Cross is something to be taken seriously when looking at a member's activity and devotion to their unit. One such a member is now being recognized for her valor, and we honor her.
