Jinius is lean with dense ribbons of muscle running along his body covering his mostly pale skin. This gives him the look of an athletic librarian. His long shoulder-length brown hair has a slight wave that tends to fold in onto itself if it grows too long. For this reason, he keeps it clipped to just above the shoulder. His face has a few potted scars from years of challenges and a childhood fit for an adult, most are hidden behind a thick, short beard. His eyes are dark spheres of brown with flecks of green and amber dotted in random patterns that seem to always be fixed into a contemplative, knowing gaze that some would describe as "off-putting". A narrow jaw comes close to a point before rounding off into an average jawline partially the result of his somewhat crowded teeth that show in during his rare smile.
Jinius Griffin's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Jinius Griffin has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Jinius Griffin a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...
Jinius Griffin loves to play with computers and enjoys interacting with them more than he does with people. Some may call him antisocial - and they'd be right.
Jinius Griffin is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Jinius Griffin to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Jinius Griffin can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
Jinius Griffin considers his work to be the most important aspect of his life. This borderline obsessions with the "job" leaves little room for any kind of personal or social life, making it difficult for Jinius Griffin to relax and enjoy spending time with others. he excels in activities that relate to their work, but the idea of work-life balance is an altogether abstract concept.
Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Jinius Griffin takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Jinius Griffin tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Jinius Griffin has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Jinius Griffin then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Jinius Griffin has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
