Araxis has been one of those members who is a slumbering giant, while he may not appear active on the surface or slow to get started, he always delivers astonishing results. Since his last promotion, I have had the honour of working with Araxis through the Disorder Vendetta and have seen him flourish as Magistrate to now Praetor to the Fist of the Brotherhood. Having earned 3 Dark Crosses, an Anteian Cross, two Silver Nova and a Grand Cross of the Dark Side in addition to several standard awards; his presence within Naga Sadow and the Brotherhood as a whole have been felt. Being instrumental in keeping the Console movement alive within the Brotherhood while being the primary figurehead in our Old Republic planning beyond the Fist himself, Araxis has made a name for himself amongst not only the gamers of the Brotherhood but further more amongst those with a vested interest in the upcoming blockbuster. While the Fist himself can detail these conquests in much further detail, it is my honour as a leader of his House, to recommend Araxis for his advancement.

Since his last promotion (6/12/10), Araxis has earned a GC, an AC, 4 DC's, 2 SN's, 8 Crescents (including 2 Diamond!), a Pendant of Blood, 357 CoF's, 2 CoI's, and 6 Seals. Araxis has passed 10 SA Courses in the same amount of time, and has run a competition (#5532, [FIST] Killzone 3). He remains a respected and valued member of the Naga Sadow, performing most admirably in both our strong suit (fiction) and our perceived weakness (gaming). However, one to let his excellence remain exclusive to Sadow, Araxis chose to bring his skills and enthusiasm to the whole of the DB, assisting the FIST's office by first becoming his Magistrate, then later, his Praetor. Araxis' presence is a constant reminder that, if leadership provides the platform for our members to be exemplary, they will not disappoint. His example is one to be followed by all Journeymen...and it is with that said that I wholeheartedly lend my name to Araxis' promotion. Congratulations, and welcome to the Varsity squad!

When I asked Sai if I could assume command of the Regulators battle team, I didnât have much of a clue at all about what I was getting myself into. All I knew is I wanted an active team, willing to advance themselves and others. I most certainly didnât want a bunch of people that didnât do much of anything.
Believe me when I say, I got what I wanted. Iâm not going to sit here and list the entirety of what Araxis has done in the past few months alone, but I will say this much, my team activity tracker spreadsheet is clogged with the awards he has achieved, to the point where I have, on IRC, said to him straight to his face, that itâs people like him that keep those in leadership positions almost too busy to think straight.
Frankly, I find it a blessing to have somebody like him on my team. As much as he works for himself, heâs not shy about working for other people too, as evident by the Dark Cross I awarded him, specifically for reaching out to the lower ranked Journeymen during the AWOL check, to make sure they understood what was required of them to not be removed from the roster. I didnât order anybody to do this, I asked for a show of hands, and his was one of the first to pop into the air.
As a presence on IRC, heâs quiet, but the listeners always are, and to assume heâs just logged in doing nothing is fallacy. Araxis does listen, and does speak up, and serves to help everyone in guiding those who have just come to us. All in all, Araxis Pepoi Farron might be one of the more well rounded, well versed, and well practiced members of the Brotherhood and Naga Sadow.
Because of this, I would like to formally recommend him to be promoted to the rank of Obelisk Templar. As the first link in his chain of command, it pleases me to no end, to be able to submit this on his behalf. April Fools Araxis, the jokeâs on you, itâs really happening.

Although Araxis has been on my staff for a short amount of time, he has done one heck of a lot of work. Since his last promotion, he has been gaming nearly every month, and accredit to that he has won each Halo competition that was made available, where he was given Halo armor and a Halo custom lightsaber, and most recently won the Halo Tournament where 14 other players participated. In Disorder he participated in 6 events, and took 2nd place in week 1's gaming event, as well as 2nd place in the Battleplan event. Since his appointment to being on staff, Araxis has worked on different sections of the Rites of Combat, for example, the Halo series section, Resistance series section, and the Killzone series section. He performed our own little wiki audit, determining which pages were redundant, as well as combining the Gaming patches and Gaming nights page so that there are is only one page with the necessary information about Gaming nights, patches, and supported platforms. He has been testing out various games for possibly allowing them to be supported platforms in the future, including Supreme Commander 2 and Front Missions Evolved. Most recently he tested out the Galactic Warfare mod for Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare, and when it was approved to be a supported platform, he installed the mod of the Call of Duty 4 server that I rented from AOWC. Within the hour it was ready and people were able to game on it.
Combined with his constant efforts in preparing for The Old Republic with me, as well as making sure the RoC is enforced, and for all the prior work that I have stated the Grand Cross that I awarded him last month, it is my belief that Araxis has more than earned this promotion to Obelisk Templar. Congrats my friend.
