There is much I could say about Kael. Still, I believe that there is no such need. His merits speak for themselves. Since his promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, Kael has been constantly active. In fact, he is one of the most active members of House Scholae Palatinae. He received countless medals ranging from awards for various competitions of different level to merit awards for his hard work. Kaelâs entries are always of very high quality, earning him top places in the competitions, he takes part in. I can only add that the example set by Kael inspires me to strive for my best in the fields of activity and service to my Battleteam, House and to the Dark Brotherhood as the wholeâ¦Yet, I can see that I need much more work to match Kaelâ¦and when I achieve it, he shall still be ahead of me, inspiring me for further efforts.

Sadly some members are less motivated then others. However this is offset by the magnificent feeling of accomplishment when you do find that highly active and motivated member and get to reward his activity by promoting him. Especially joyous occasions are the promotions into the Equite ranks. Kael performed excellently in the RoS: Disorder and absolutely dominated the HSP Neutralization Event. He not only participated by creating submissions in bulk, he also managed to keep the quality up to a rather high level (which is hard to do). In recognition of his achievements in the Rite of Supremacy, he was awarded a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. In recognition of his work in the (then) CSP Spring Games, he received a Steel Cross. After thorough consideration, we have decided to utilize his magnificent actions during the HSP Neutralization event to promote Knight Kael Fayne to the rank of Obelisk Templar. Congratulations Kael, and keep up the good work!

I hereby bring Kael Fayne forward for elevation to the rank of Obelisk Templar. Dark Jedi Knight Fayne has done an outstanding job during his 9 plus months at his current rank. Before his ascension to Dark Jedi Knight, Kael stepped forward to serve as my Aedile following the turmoil that House Dorimad Sol was going through at that time. Even as a newer member, Kael was able to learn on the job and used activity as a way to motivate our members. He helped develop the Spring Games with me by coming up with 3 of the events that we used, and he won the event as we led Dorimad Sol to victory. Kael also served as our house's temporary Rollmaster by keeping in constant contact with our younglings for a number of weeks as we went through the candidates for our house, and he also helped to clean up our mailing list during last summer in order to alleviate junk email to previous members who were still on the list. In addition to his time as Aedile during which our house dominated the other two houses of the clan during the Spring Games, Kael has continued his service to Scholae Palatinae through his work ethic that has produced an impressive resume including running 5 events for our battleteam, the Nightstalkers, and 2 for the house. Since his elevation to Dark Jedi Knight, Kael has earned the following awards:
Grand Cross of the Dark Side x 1
Steel Cross x 1
Gold Nova x 3
Bronze Nova x 3
Crescents x 32
Pendant of Blood x 2
Cluster of Fire x 228
Cluster of Ice x 6
Dark Side Scroll x 2
Legion of the Scholar x 3
Seal of Defiance x 13
Dark Jedi Knight Fayne has been a constant source of activity, and he has placed well in the last Rite of Supremacy as well as the last Great Jedi War. Most recently, he dominated the Neutralization event held by Scholae Palatinae. Welcome to the Equite ranks!
Signed,
Dante
Dark Paladin of Scholae Palatinae
Dedicated, Hard Working, Professional, Reliable: Just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Kael Fayne. With a constant inflow of new members joining, then never doing anything in the DB, there are only a few who really take hold put forward quality work. Even fewer ever show the ability to prove themselves to be worthy of being an Equite. Dark Jedi Knight Kael Fayne is one of these rare members. Since I met Kael I have seen him prove his abilities as a member again and again. There are few in Scholae Palatinae I know I can rely on to not only get the job done, but do a great job at it too.
In the beginning I didnât have too much interaction with Kael other then talking to him on IRC. He was in a different house (as we were a clan at the time) and I was busy readjusting to being back in the DB. However I did notice he did very well in competitions and was a very constant presence on IRC. The more time that went on I saw him continue to have a very constant level of activity. When the time came for House Dorimad Sol to get a new Aedile, he was the one I suggested as having a lot of potential for the position. At this time both Dante (who would be serving as his QUA) and Thran (who was CON) both happened to suggest the same thing. He was the first the entire group of leaders thought of for the position and we were all every excited to see he wanted it as well.
While this time was cut short by the declanning that occurred in the summer, Kael did spend several months as AED. During this time he was a great example of what a leader should be. He released competitions to promote activity. He released several very informative and well written reports, and they were even entertaining to read. He was a constant source of contact for members on IRC and email. He even stepped up to work as Rollmaster as Dorimad Sol didnât have one for a while. He also worked as a part of the greater CSP summit by helping create events for the Spring Games, which was a great Clan Event. In the spring games he illustrated he could lead by example by being active and participating in things, and not just sitting there with a title. He managed to earn the most total points out of everyone who participated.
Then came Disorder, where Kael was one of the outstanding Obelisk who participated in the vendetta. He participated in many events and earned multiple novae from his superb work and gaming abilities. He would later show this was no fluke by dominating the HSP House Event âThe Neutralizationâ where he not only participated in nearly ever event, but also placed first in a majority of them with some incredible submissions.
And it isnât just being a leader and the outstanding activity that Kael has done over these last several months as DJK. He helped work on Project Goetia, which was HSPâs super important system expansion project which was used to put our systems more on par with the other houseâs. In this he was responsible for the creation of Naberius as well as the moons: Gressil, Barbatos, Echidna, and Belial. His work to help expand the fictional realm of HSP will be felt and recognized continually.
As for a numerical showing of his accomplishments since reaching DJK Kael has earned over massive amounts of medals including a Grand Cross and a Steel Cross, 6 Novae, 32 Crescents, 228 CFs, 6 CIs, 2 DSS, 3 LSs and 13 Seals of Defiance. He has also completed multiple Shadow Academy Exams and earned a Maven â Combat. Kael is by far one of the most active members I have in HSP.
It is the members who not only participate but also give quality work that we so desperately want to find. Kael is exactly the kind of member we wish everyone else could be. The elevation from DJK to EQ1 is not one to be taken lightly, and Kael has more then proved he is worthy. His outstanding work ethic and attitude is what will help the DJB moving forward and making it a better place. This promotion has been a very long time coming and Kael has more than earned it. Welcome to the Equite Ranks Kael, now the fun can really start. Drinks are on you!
