The upper Equite ranks are demanding ones, ones that require their achievers to truly show presence, fortitude, and the ability to give back to our sprawling community as much as they must act as a part of it. Celevon is one such individual.
Since his last promotion, Celevon has been an incredibly active, productive leader and an awe-inspiring member, involving himself in every kind of activity he possibly could around the Brotherhood while excelling in various positions. Over more than the last year, he has organized eight competitions and co-organized 21, varying from Battleteam-specific events to Clan vendettas and DB-wide work, while also participating in 77 competitions! Of those, he placed in 22, netting himself three Diamond, one Ruby, five Amethyst, four Sapphire, and nine Emerald Crescents. Fifteen of those activities spoke of his love for fiction and culminated into 36625 written words, including eight ACC battles and another 4499 words over five unique Run-On posts. And while Celevon received 116 Clusters of Ice for those activities, he was also busy participating in gaming with his dark brethren: he completed 51 PvE matches and 7 PvP matches that brought in eight Pendants of Blood, 132 Clusters of Fire, and 503 Clusters of Earth. Alongside these massive contributions in competition running and participating, Celevon also found time to teach not only himself, but others. He took and passed eleven Shadow Academy courses, gaining two Mavens and two Savants for a total of four degrees, and also earned a Legion of the Scholar in testing his knowledge! Furthermore, Celevon took all his experience and used it to nurture a new member, guiding his student to the rank of Knight and gaining a Scroll of the Master.
During all of this, Celevon also spent his time diligently serving his Clan and the Brotherhood at large in every House-level leadership position available. He spent seven months as Battleteam Leader of the former team Arete, posting 13 reports in the span of those seven months and generating multiple competitions, emails, and camaraderie among his teammates. With barely a break to breathe after that, he rose up as Qel-Droma's new Aedile for six solid months, and then on up to Quaestor to lead the House when it called him to. With four months in the position so far, Celevon has been a stalwart pillar for the House to rely upon, a constant friend and active guide to its members. He and his Aedile successfully guided the opening of a new Battleteam in Qel-Droma while diligently sending out detailed monthly reports and encouraging emails whenever one of their own was awarded or accomplished something. That's fifteen solid months of leadership, just since his last promotion, stellar leadership for which he was acknowledged last November with a Grand Cross.
That's a long list, that can really only be summed up in one word: fantastic. That's the kind of person and contributor Celevon is. He is reliable and relentless in his dedication, always there to support the members and people around him, always ready to sacrifice and serve. He will take what you ask of him and exceed all expectations for far longer than you ever would have dreamed. And yet, for all his hard work and generous kindness, in this he is quiet. He doesn't think of reward or look for recognition, nor does he boast. His excellence is a quiet thing, shining like the nighttime moon for all we peers to bask in, and I've been proud to witness our people follow his example, both as a leader and a member. David, you are the friend and mentor any onlooker should aspire to be. Congratulations, thank you, and welcome to Equite III.

I’ve worked with Celevon in various capacities for nearly two years now. In that time, there’s one attribute that stands above all the others - the incredible degree to which he cares for his members. Cel has the heart of a rancor, and he pours every ounce of it into trying to make sure his members feel happy and fulfilled in the Brotherhood. Through his work as Battleteam Leader, Aedile and Quaestor, his unending concern for his members’ wellbeing has been constantly demonstrated.
Celevon has served as a leader in Arcona for the past eighteen months, and in that time, his dedication and devotion have never wavered. This can be illustrated by his participation record - despite any personal reservations he might have, there hasn’t been a single event in which Arcona has taken part that hasn’t seen Cel at the forefront, waving his metaphorical sword and launching himself into the fray. His dedication to leading from the front is enviable, and something to which we should all aspire.
Under his watchful eye as Quaestor, Qel-Droma has finally begun to grow in active members for the first time in over a year, and with his hand at the tiller, the future looks bright for both his House and the Clan at large.
For his constant presence, his unending dedication, and the nearly year and a half he has served as a leader in the Clan, I am happy to recommend that Celevon Edraven be promoted to the rank of Equite III.

Of all the recommendations I’ve been called on to write as a leader in the club, this is by far the easiest. Celevon is a rock, his steadfast consistency and stability is something I admire. If he starts something he finishes it, if he makes a promise he keeps it, if he takes on a responsibility he fulfills it. That is something of a rarity in club leaders and what makes Celevon even more extraordinary is that he doesn’t do it for himself. He’s not flashy or loud or boisterous trumpeting his accomplishments, he quietly does the hard and very unsexy work for the benefit of his fellow members. I’ve never once seen him ask, hint or otherwise request anything on his own behalf. His recognition as a leader and elevation within the Equite ranks is beyond earned, and I gladly add my voice in support.
I first starting working with Celevon when I arrived to House Qel-Droma as the new Aedile, fresh off the shuttle from Odan-Urr. I knew very little about the House or Clan Arcona and as one of my two BTLs, Celevon was there to help me get my bearings and set to help me do the work to move the House forward. He quickly became my right hand man in those early endeavors, going well above and beyond what is expected of a battle team leader, there wasn’t an idea that I didn’t run by him or a question about unit history or members that I didn’t go to him first on. He was indispensable to me. When I became Quaestor, he was an easy choice for Aedile because he had already been filling that role.
I hope in my current role as Proconsul I can be half the deputy to my Consul that Celevon was to me as my Aedile. Everything with him was seamless, he demonstrated such initiative that things were just handled. If I so much as hinted I was starting a project he would jump in a help without me asking. He continued to engage the membership and provide his sage counsel. On a personal level, he would step in and mediate various clashes when my passion would get the better of me. He became whatever the unit needed him to be. Celevon always keeps things in perspective, he never loses sight that this is all supposed to be for fun and doesn’t get spun up in the inevitable drama that comes from the mix of strong personalities on the Arcona summit. The contribution of his stabilizing presence to the smooth operation of the Clan cannot be understated.
Shortly after Atty took over as Consul I was removed from Quaestor due to a COJ case. Professionally, Celevon kept the House moving, putting out a major House event while an interim Quaestor got his bearings. Then, when plans changed he took on the mantle of Quaestor himself and ushered the House into a new era of stability and growth, which the unit numbers clearly reflect. On a personal level he continued to be my friend and advisor during that dark period and beyond when I returned to leadership as his peer Quaestor. Even now, as a Proconsul in my home Clan of Odan-Urr I still go to him for advice or just a friendly ear to bounce ideas off. I wish I could clone him, the Brotherhood needs more leaders like Celevon.
Celevon has proven himself several times over to be the caliber of leader worthy of elevation into the upper Equite ranks. I owe him a personal debt and Clan Arcona does as well for his quiet, unwavering service. Congratulations my friend!

I'm honored to write this recommendation to be counted amongst numerous others that will surely highlight the work of our beloved Qel-Droma Quaestor, Celevon. He is a work horse of infinite patience and balance. This promotion is well earned for his work as a member and leader of Arcona.
When I joined the ranks of Arcona's leaders, I found my peer more than willing to extend the proverbial olive branch. My Aedile had big plans on our House; much of that work would erase work previously done by Celevon and other active members in the Clan. He did not dispute our direction, though, instead coming onto the development team to support our ideas and help us bring not only much needed change, but support our efforts with his members. That level of humility is rare amongst Brotherhood members and serves as one of his most qualifying traits as an advancing Equite. Celevon also demonstrates integrity. Every step of the way, he has followed through on his promises. Whether it was reviewing plot points, refining fiction, helping with brain storming... he always delivers. His word carries weight; both for his reputation and the responsibility he shoulders for countless members in our Clan.
Others will highlight his excellent participation, his event creation, the numerous words of fiction he has wrote. I wanted to take time to highlight the leadership qualities he has demonstrated since his last elevation. He served as a Battle Team Leader for seven (7) months, an Aedile for six (6) months, and transitioned smoothly into Quaestor for the past four (4) months. Those seventeen months of leadership were dedicated to his members, fellow leaders, and his superiors. He has been instrumental in helping craft policy in Arcona for the roles of our leadership team, the execution of our Roll Master program, countless fictional advancements, support of his members (helping proof fictions, sort character sheets, offer insights to entries, etc), and move Arcona forward through participation in major events like the COU-ARC Feud and the Crusades.
Thank you, David. I am truly blessed to have a peer like you. And I look forward to many more years of collaboration and teamwork.
Quaestor of Galeres

Celevon Edraven is a lot of things of things, but the one thing he is above all is one of the longest standing member of Arcona’s Summit with seventeen months of constant leadership - Battleteam Leader, Aedile and Quaestor. During this time he has participated in every event Arcona has been a part of. He has always led from the front - as a member of the Summit - showing members what it means to be part of the Shadow Clan.
Aside from his constant presence is his dedication to improving the experience his members have within the Club. Beyond his willingness to go above and beyond for his members, he himself has participated in seventy one events, posted nineteen news posts, twenty two combined crescents, seven hundred and fifty one combined Clusters! The man doesn’t stop working, doesn’t stop competing! Truly a pillar of Arcona.
I could continue to speak of Celevon’s accomplishments, but I will leave that to his superiors. I want to speak to specifically what Celevon has provided to me as a member of Arcona. I was paired with Celevon as part of a special unit program within Arcona, at every turn when I have needed an opponent within the ACC, someone to help me in my writing, to help make me a better member of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, the member to step up time and again has been Celevon.
For everything you have done for me.
For everything you have done for Arcona.
For everything you have done for the Brotherhood.
Thank you Celevon and congratulations!
