Celevon, the very mention of that name makes me excited to be his Quaestor. The guy has been nothing but a blessing to us in Galeres and Arcona at large. Being paired up with Dash as his apprentice, Celevon has been lucky enough to learn from the best on how a member and more importantly, how a leader should act.
During my current tenure as Quaestor of Galeres, Celevon has been a beacon of activity. His list of achievements tell as much, receiving a Steel Cross three months ago, as well as being awarded the âKama of Galeresâ for securing joint first place in Operation âAd Infinitumâ with his master, Dash. I can always rely on Celevon to participate in competitions, as well as running them. Since his last promotion, he has garnered one Crescent with Ruby star, one Crescent with Amethyst star, two Crescents with Sapphire stars, two Crescents with Emerald stars, one Crescent with Topaz star. Celevon is a consistent feature in the VOICE run DB-wide competitions, often coming in the top three. To date, Celevon has participated in over twenty competitions since being knighted. As well as that, Celevon has received a Scroll of Indoctrination, two Seals of Decimation and two Clusters of Ice for his participation the Arconan Family Feud ACC event. Not to mention, he has more to come for his successful participation in the 5th Challenge Ladder, reaching the Quarter Finals.
The ACC is a place where Celevon seems to flourish, beating both myself and my Aedile in the Family Feud, securing valued points for the Erinos family. They were both well written and well fought and they brought the guy to my attention. Not only that, but Celevon also beat out Drodik (the current QUA of HOU) and Shikyo (the Herald of all people) in the 5th Challenge Ladder. Losing out to Socorra, another of our promising new members in the Quarter Finals, Celevon was an exemplary Arconan, fighting honourably and with no mercy in the ACC. His activities in the ACC also got him promoted to CL:2 within the Combat Centre.
Not only has Celevon been a beacon of activity in competitions and the ACC, he has taken several Shadow Academy courses, despite not needing them to advance to the ranks of the Equites. Scoring 84% or higher, he took five courses (Light Jedi History, Clan Arcona History, Freighters/Transports Studies, Races and Species and Obelisk Core).
His exemplary conduct in the Arconan Family Feud gave me pause for thought; the then recent closure of Revenance Virtuom had left a void in Galeres. Seeking a way to fill that void (giggety), I discussed with the summit the possibility of Celevon creating and implementing a new Battleteam within the House. With a unanimous cry of approval, the deed was done and Celevon created and developed the team with insight from myself, Marick and Dash. It was a difficult process, dealing with critiquing from the trio of us. Yet Cel did us all proud, relishing the task and tackling it head on, even when we had just demanded he restart from the beginning. Since becoming Battleteam leader of Spectre Cell, Celevon has done a great job. Creating and running competitions, helping his members (often being the first point of contact for them, despite working long hours.) Writing reports, awarding crescents and creating and maintaining the wiki page for the team, not to mention creating original graphics for it.
Celevon also did us proud when he took on the added responsibility of being a Master to Snabbie. Retention of members is always a big thing for the Brotherhood and Celevon has constantly been able to keep Snabbie interested and involved with the DB. Requesting his warranted promotions from Acolyte to Jedi Hunter, Snabbie is extremely close to being Knighted himself and I canât wait to see Celevon be proud that heâs made a lasting contribution to the Brotherhood in the form of an active Knight. Celevon also participated in a Co-Op ACB contract with Snabbie, completing it. Not to mention helping his student in his attempt to qualify in the ACC. In the three months that Celevon took on Snabbie as his student, he has matured and developed into the leader I see today. Someone I hope I can one day pass the reins of leadership to.
Despite all that Iâve written so far, (weâre 850 words in.) thereâs more! Thatâs right, Celevon is amazing. I often see promotion recs for DJKs to join the Equites that are tiny; no such luck in Celâs regard, the guy has been a paragon of activity. Hereâs what else he has done since being Knighted.
Heâs applied for Galeres Rollmaster before Timeros rejoined the Summit, and despite not getting the job, he continued to kick arse activity wise. He wrote a fiction with the Aedile of Qel-Droma which came in at over 15,000 words...THATâS RIGHT...15,000 WORDS!!!! Thatâs like a book there. He participated in the Soulfire Run On, welcoming the new members to the squad. Helped me create future competitions for Galeres regarding SCEPTER (our new front), helped Dash update the Soulfire wiki page and created graphics for Socorra and Terochâs wiki pages. He is constantly updating Soulfireâs, Spectre Cellâs and his own wiki page, despite no longer being in Soulfire and he is creating another wiki page for the Eldarian Rangers. Looking back at what Iâve written here, I canât believe that itâs taken this long for us to demand that Celevon be promoted to the ranks of the Equites, a Brotherhood within a Brotherhood. Iâm both proud and glad that Celevon joined Arcona and has been such a boon to us. I hope that he stays with us for many more years. As such, with a promotion recommendation this long and chock full of the stuff heâs done, I request that Celevon Edraven be promoted to Obelisk Templar post-haste. Well done Celevon, youâve earned this with your own sweat and toil.

Celevon has been a significant player in the Clan. He hasn't stopped in his endeavours to develop his Battleteam, Spectre Cell, his house and his Clan. He has been consistently active and he has been a great sport with anything and everything given to him by his house and Clan summit. I have been very much impressed by Celevon's work ethic, as displayed and outlined in the previous recommendation by Sang. There's little else I can say other than well done, Celevon. You've done a stellar job.

I've had the honor of knowing Celevon since he was just a fledgling Journeyman who had the fortunate pleasure (and sometimes terror) of being paired with our beloved Dash as a Master. I remember how excited we where when he first came to us, very promising out of the Shadow Academy and getting right into activity on IRC and the DB as a whole. Over the past year I've watched him meet every challenge that has been thrown his way, always striving and pushing forward to better himself. As a member, he was everything you could ask for; loyal, active, and passionate. His activity record speaks for itself with the amount of competitions he's been a part of, and you can tell by the way he handles himself with other members and other leaders that he's a stellar person. He has been a tremendous force with our writers, taking on multiple ACB contracts and passing each one with flying colors, and made it to the semi finals of the 5th Championship Ladder. I've gotten to watch him grow and evolve as not just a writer though, but a member of the DB.
A few months ago we decided to bring Celevon into the summit as one of our new Battleteam Leaders. He eagerly accepted the challenge and set to work on creating a new and unique Battleteam from the ground up that would be able to compliment House Galares incumbent stalwart, Soulfire Striketeam. As the leader of "Spectre Cell", Celevon was a driving force behind coming up with the fictional basis for the team, and was very receptive to the help and aid given by myself, Sang, and Dash. It is a rare trait being able to take and work with constructive criticism , and he has been nothing short of a stellar team player since joining our ranks as a member of the Summit. I honestly think that the sky is the limit for Celevons potential, and think that he has more than proven he deserves to be a member of the Equites.
