He has no visible scars or marks that entail veterancy, nor do his hands show the hardiness of a manual worker. However, his blue-eyed gaze and firm jawline has the traits of confidence and a respectable intelligence.

Areticus Altainatus's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Areticus Altainatus has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Areticus Altainatus a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...
Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Areticus Altainatus creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Areticus Altainatus creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Areticus Altainatus is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Areticus Altainatus will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Areticus Altainatus in a bit of trouble.
Despite his line of work, Areticus Altainatus still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Areticus Altainatus only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Areticus Altainatus has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Areticus Altainatus then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Areticus Altainatus has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
Areticus Altainatus wears out his opponents through use of the Force, agility, and evasion. Once he has sufficiently tired his foes through the Force, physical, or mental assault, he quickly tries to find a means of cleanly and swiftly dispatching them - usually resulting in a somewhat risky all-or-nothing attempt at a deathblow.
