Battlemaster Teylas Ramar
Teylas is easily distinguished by a strong, chiseled face to naturally match his very lightly tanned skin tone. Very professional and business looking he is very kept. He typically keeps his thick, dark black hair slicked back and clean shaven on the face to match this kept style. The two tentacle-like proboscises used by his species to feed upon other humanoid species are completely unnoticeable when retracted into their proper seams along the ridge of his nose.
Teylas, loathing the inability to maneuver that comes with more armored clothing, prefers lighter robing. He can typically be found with a basic black tunic underneath a deep Russian violet colored v-neck vest, slit down to his thick belt and two separate ends of the long vest draping below his thick, clasped-belt. The vest, coming up to his neck with a thick collar, is accented with solid black robe with two silver cloak pins at his chest to hold it fast. The cloak matches in color with elbow-length gloves with gauntlet-like diagonal end cuts, and knee high boots with metal clasps up and down their sides. The robes are more than just for maneuverability, however, as they also have practicability. The gloves gauntlet-like ends allow for storage of small items, as does the clasped-belt. Most importantly though is the vest, which allows for hidden storage of some items of importance within them, including a small DC-15s blaster pistol which is usually on Teylas' person.

If it has an electronic circuit or gears,Teylas Ramar thinks he can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To Teylas Ramar, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. he has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and his confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if he fails to fix something, he is prone to fits of anger and annoyance.
Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Teylas Ramar creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Teylas Ramar creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Teylas Ramar tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.
Teylas Ramar is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Teylas Ramar will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Teylas Ramar in a bit of trouble.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Teylas Ramar has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Teylas Ramar then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Teylas Ramar has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
Teylas prefers to let his enemies make the first move in combat for both political and tactical reasons. Relying on a blend of Soresu and Makashi and fit constitution, he keeps calm and lets his mind control the flow of battle. While this cool headed, calculating approach can help him dissect and wear-down opponents, his pretense of not striking first can sometimes come back to haunt him against a superior foe.
