I view a Sith Warriors activity in three facets. Individual, Clan, and Brotherhood.

Individually, Monty's activity covers the full spectrum of the Brotherhood. He writes fiction, he games, and he is active socially through mIRC, g hangout, and Google Groups. His activity on an individual scale is solidly in the top 10% of our club and in the top 1% of those at his rank.

His Clan level activity includes administrative duties concerning the AWOL (8 emails), Summit Discussions on mIrc and google groups, and motivational leadership. Additionally, he has trained a new member (to grd, maybe JH today). Monty's work within the Clan includes leadership, administrative and mentorship duties.

Finally, Monty has completed DJB wide tasks or Dark Council Tasks. These include the testing of our new JA server leading to its proper function for the Dark Crusade, transferring 17 run ons into word/spell checking them/totaling their word count, and reviewing run-ons for DB wide CoI rewarding.

Monty has conducted all of his activity with motivation, good will, and enjoyment. He has avoided confrontation at all levels and is a model member.

Statistically, in the five months since Montresor's last promotion he has participated in every Dark Crusade event and has earned 799 x Clusters of Fire, 1 x Pendant of Blood, 2 x Silver Nova, 1 x Gold Nova, and 1 x Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

For his individual, Clan, and Dark Jedi Brotherhood work, I'm honored to recommend SW Montresor to the rank of Sith Battlemaster.

When I first met Montresor, I knew he had potential. He seemed to walk through the great doors to the Serpentine Throne, proclaim, "Do Work, Son!" and get to it. Honestly, he has been a veritable bastion of activity in recent months, and he has easily outperformed even his biggest proponents' expectations. There is not a single bad word I have heard anyone say about this individual, for there is nothing bad to say. His participation has been superb (one only has to look at his record in the Dark Crusade), his leadership is unparalleled, and his mentality has become a cornerstone of Arcona's perseverance, camaraderie and recent success.

There is honestly not a single person in this club who has developed so well and so swiftly as Montresor, and his ability to continue to impress and improve have been quite simply inspiring. I mean, the guy even takes the time to help out new members (Arconan or not) in the capacity within which he feels most comfortable - gaming; he has developed a rapport with the summit which has only helped to boost the summit's collective drive and ambition; and, he continued to work behind the scenes, testing out and recalibrating the Brotherhood JA server. Furthermore, his consistent work alongside Darth Pravus as the Praetor to the VOICE is simply a testament to his willingness to devote himself to the club, for the benefit of everyone involved.

I have the utmost respect for Montresor, and I can only hope that he continues to develop into one of the Brotherhood's most fervent, dedicated and talented members.

Well done, Dave. Soon you'll take me over! Nevertheless, you've earned it. And some.

Monty is one of the more unique members I've gotten to work with. He came to us as an eager member looking to simply tackle the challenge of becoming a DJK. It's been a true pleasure to watch him become more and more invested not just in the Brotherhood, but in the Clan in which he represents. By increasing his IRC presence, his Clanmates are starting to see what I've known all along about him. I think this is what makes him so endearing- he has a natural energy and positive outlook on everything. His passion and dedication to doing work (son) is contagious. As a new Aedile, he has been a huge help in working with the new members and helping them get better acclimated to the DB. He's a staple of the standard to what Equite members should hold themselves to.

In the weeks since I've taken over House Qel-Droma, as the Quaestor to Montresor's Aedile, I've been continually impressed by his "intangibles". This is something that is often talked about in sports scouting or recruiting; attributes like work ethic, character, and attitude. Essentially, anything that cannot be easily measured, like reps or speed. While I'm sure Montresor would like me to add that he is also strong and fast, it's his intangibles that really blow me away.

I don't think there is a member of this Brotherhood who fits more perfectly with the direction we are taking Qel-Droma in, and I would not trade him for any other Brotherhood leader at any level. Before I met him a few weeks ago, I was told, "You're gonna like him -- he's a lot like you." At the time I laughed it off, but now, I'm honored. Now, I'm the one trying to be like Montresor. He exudes enthusiasm and passion in all that he does, and manages to blend a relentless pursuit of victory with a softer, humble and more personalized side that makes him a hit with the members. He makes everyone around him work harder.

Thank you, Montresor, for being the driving force behind a movement. It's been a privilege to serve beside you, and I look forward to the great things you will accomplish in the future.
