Kor Vaal's habit of practicing rituals for hours or even days at a time without sustenance has left him with a slight frame and sinewy musculature which belies his physical strength. Like all Kel Dor he has large extrasensory organs which frame his head and culminate in two black tusks. He is always seen wearing his breathing mask and protective goggles, both constructed of a shiny black metal. His most distinctive feature is the mass of scar tissue that covers the left side of his body. From a distance the scars seem random, the work of a crazed butcher, but on closer inspection the scars are each revealed to be thousands of individual arcane runes and symbols which Kor Vaal carved into his own dusky red flesh. His attire normally consists of a black tunic and trousers, with a purple sash around his waist, over which he usually wears a hooded black robe.
Chain whip, dagger (usually coated in poison), armory saber, homemade explosive grenade.
Kor Vaal is obsessed with the arcane and esoteric, and he has devoted himself to the acquisition and study of occult lore and artifacts from all races, cultures and beliefs. Whether a tome of ancient Sith magics or an idol from a long extinct civilization, Kor Vaal will use any means necessary to add them to his collection, whether this involves murder, disobeying orders, running into a burning building or charging headlong into a hopeless fight, and should the item be destroyed he will do everything in his power to bring retribution to those responsible.
Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Kor Vaal retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.
Kor Vaal has a legendary and virulent need for vengeance. Once crossed, he will make it his life’s work to ensure that whatever slight was received is repaid tenfold. This need for vengeance can be all-consuming, and can often lead to short-sighted decisions.
Kor Vaal rarely acts without an alternate motive when it comes to lending aid or acting in a situation. Be it greed, power, or something else, almost undoubtedly Kor Vaal is after something more than what he says - though sometimes Kor Vaal is even blunt enough to admit to it. While his self-serving attitude comes as a boon, usually, to his survival and pocketbook, his relationships are often strained by his outright selfish attitude.
Although Kor Vaal's anger and hatred fuel his power, they can sometimes overcome him completely, turning him into a psychotic killing machine if pushed too far. Although the unrestrained power coursing through him can lend him greater strength and speed, it dulls his mind, making him careless and unable to muster the concentration to use Force powers, leaving himself exhausted once he regains his senses.
Some warriors enjoy toying with their enemies, and draw a combat out long after they could have finished it. Kor Vaal is not one of these warriors. He will seek to end a fight as quickly and violently as he can, using whatever means are available to him. Sometimes this can mean he will throw everything he has got at an opponent too soon, leaving him overly exhausted in a protracted fight.
