Kor Vaal's habit of practicing rituals for hours or even days at a time without sustenance has left him with a slight frame and sinewy musculature which belies his physical strength. Like all Kel Dor he has large extrasensory organs which frame his head and culminate in two black tusks. He is always seen wearing his breathing mask and protective goggles, both constructed of a shiny black metal which obstruct most of his face. This means he shows very limited facial expressions, making it difficult to gauge his feelings and reactions.
His most distinctive feature is the mass of scar tissue that covers the left side of his body. From a distance the scars seem random, the work of a crazed butcher, but on closer inspection the scars are each revealed to be thousands of individual arcane runes and symbols which Kor Vaal carved into his own dusky red flesh.
Kor Vaal is a creature of habit, and will always dress in overlapping robes of black, grey, red and purple with a hooded cloak. If secrecy is not of paramount importance he will also wear long sashes stitched with red Sith runes.

Kor Vaal is obsessed with the arcane and esoteric, and he has devoted himself to the acquisition and study of occult lore and artifacts from all races, cultures and beliefs. Whether a tome of ancient Sith magics or an idol from a long extinct civilization, Kor Vaal will use any means necessary to add them to his collection, whether this involves murder, disobeying orders, running into a burning building or charging headlong into a hopeless fight, and should the item be destroyed he will do everything in his power to bring retribution to those responsible.
Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Kor Vaal retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.
The Sith rely on their passions to give them strength. Kor Vaal thinks inwards, only of things that matter to him, and always does what is in his best interests. He feels nothing about hurting others, or exploiting opportunities, and believes himself to be special, and above all others.
Kor Vaal has a legendary and virulent need for vengeance. Once crossed, he will make it his life’s work to ensure that whatever slight was received is repaid tenfold. This need for vengeance can be all-consuming, and can often lead to short-sighted decisions.
Kor Vaal has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only he could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
Some warriors enjoy toying with their enemies, and draw a combat out long after they could have finished it. Kor Vaal is not one of these warriors. He will seek to end a fight as quickly and violently as he can, using whatever means are available to him. Sometimes this can mean he will throw everything he has got at an opponent too soon, leaving him overly exhausted in a protracted fight.
