Nero, presently under the name Decimo, has been active over the last 9 months with every manner of communication medium the Brotherhood has to offer, particularly IRC, where he is a constant presence. When Taldryan Clanned, Nero volunteered his time to help shape the Clan by serving as Battleteam Leader of Harbingers. In addition to being an active participant in many competitions (24, in fact), Nero has also organized or helped co-organize more than half a dozen competitions for the Clan, his House, or his Battleteam. Nero is not only a mentor to his members, and also an excellent resource for the Clan Summit, where he provides invaluable feedback on large projects, such as an upcoming competition being worked on. Nero leads by example, his hundreds of Clusters of Fire and awards a testament to his own activity. Nero is exactly the kind of active, dedicated member the Brotherhood needs more of, and for that reason, he more than deserves this promotion to EQ1!

Nero is awesome. I'm aware that that isn't normally the best way to lead off a promotion recommendation, but I feel like it's necessary. Ever since joining Tal, one of Nero's defining attributes has been his IRC activity. For anyone who pays attention, IRC activity is one of the best indicators of future potential in the DB. I believe this remains true for Nero.

Even before Taldryan got promoted to Clanning, and Nero stepped up into a leadership role within Dinaari, he was a member I knew I could count on. His activity, defined by always being around on IRC, submitting to competitions is just one of the things that I rely on. More than that, it's Nero's desire to learn. Learning is something every member of the DB needs to keep doing. You ask questions, you learn what's going on, and you adjust. You never stop learning.

Between Nero's drive to always better himself, his recent activity as Harbinger Prime, and his efforts in helping advise the Clan Summit, I am happy to recommend him for this promotion to Obeliskan Templar.

During his last promotion 9 month ago, Decimo has become an example in representing what it means to be a member of Taldryan. When the time had come that Taldryan stepped up again to its rightful position as Clan within the Brotherhood, Decimo has willingly taken over the mantle of Battleteamleader of the Harbingers at the request of his Summit.

His start with the Harbingers wasn't an easy one, but still Decimo has done the only thing that he saw fitting: Leading his Battleteam by example as profen despite his strong presence on both the Taldryan message group and Taldryan's IRC-channel by the amount of awards he has collected since his last promotion.

In summary he has collected more than 340 Clusters, of Fire, 5 Crescents of varying level, two Legions of the Scholar, three Dark Crosses as well as a Seal of Loyalty. He has also made sure that all members were always informed of all important activities within the Clan through reports and got opportunities to be active through competitions ranging from Battleteam-level up to DB-wide events run on IRC.

Decimo Inferni: You have been an example of what it takes to be a member of Taldryan, you have fought hard and stood your ground for the success of your Clan, it is exactly this kind of hard work that make me think you are eligible to become an Equite of the Brotherhood.
