Edgar Drachen has been a Knight for far too long and his recent surge in activity and leadership within the ranks proves that he has already crossed the threshold into the Equites. It’s time to make that official.

Over the course of the past seventeen months since his Knighting, Edgar has varied in his pace of advancement but never, never gave up. He has participated in sixty seven competitions (thirty five of which were since his last award in July) and garnered a trove of seventeen Crescents. His gaming prowess is exceptional as he has, since his last promotion, received five Pendants of Blood, 680 Clusters of Fire, 266 Clusters of Earth and received one of the eight coveted GMRG XI spots for being one of the top ranked gamers in the Brotherhood this past quarter. He is (as of writing this recommendation) in fourth place for the GMRG ranking for the current quarter.

Beyond Edgar’s individual activity he has contributed to the Clan as a leader in the ranks. He has organized or co-organized seven competitions, most of which were DJB wide and received two Scroll of Indoctrination for personally recruiting two friends into the DJB and COU. He has a Scroll of the Master for mentoring Teikhos Seleukides to Knight and his other student, leocadio is well on his way to Knighthood as well. His presence in Clan channels both socializing and hyping events has contributed in a tangible way to the COU community and success in recent months.

In short Edgar is a leader and beacon of activity, especially in the recent months. I wholeheartedly endorse his elevation.

I feel that my former apprentice, Edgar, has been an awesome Knight of Clan Odan-Urr for long enough. He has organized and co-organized 7 competitions, but his true accomplishments are his attitude. He has always been friendly and quick to help whenever asked, and he maintains a constant stream of gaming activity that is hard not to recognize.

Since he was Knighted in May last year, he has earnt 5 Pendants of Blood, 680 Clusters of Fire, 266 Clusters of Earth, a Legion of the Scholar and 2 Scrolls of Indoctrination. He has also earnt two Dark Crosses and an Anteian Cross, along with 17 Crescents for participation and victory in 67 competitions - and most recently, he has mentored Teikhos to Knighthood himself. Mentorship is highly looked upon in this Clan, and to produce a Knight as hyperactive as Teikhos is no small feat.

When Edgar joined House Satele Shan, I already knew who he was - although I had never really ever spoken to him. As such it came as a pleasant surprise for me when I saw his activity. Edgar is an active, dedicated and happy member of our Clan. I won’t go through all of his activity as both Turel and Nathan have already done so, instead I will say that since the moment Edgar joined my House I have become more and more impressed with his activity and Leadership skills and am extremely proud to have him among our number and that I hope to see him keep up his current level of activity and to thank him for his diligent service to the House.
