Darkblade's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Darkblade has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Darkblade a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...

Darkblade has made many brash and unforgiving decisions in his life. Never having learned his lesson until he lost the one thing he truly cared for. Upon losing her, he fought hard to win her back, but she simply ignored him. Darkblade has grown solemn and unforgiving of others mistakes, as their mistakes remind him too much of what he has lost.

Darkblade is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Darkblade will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Darkblade in a bit of trouble.

Darkblade rarely acts without an alternate motive when it comes to lending aid or acting in a situation. Be it greed, power, or something else, almost undoubtedly Darkblade is after something more than what he says - though sometimes Darkblade is even blunt enough to admit to it. While his self-serving attitude comes as a boon, usually, to his survival and pocketbook, his relationships are often strained by his outright selfish attitude.

Darkblade prefers to play with his opponents, dodging, jumping, dancing, twisting and evading attacks whilst never drawing his own weapon, unless to block a blow that would otherwise end his Act pre-maturely, except when going in for the kill. In doing so Darkblade studies his opponent and learns of any flaws in their attacks, and capitalizes on this once he feels he has entertained himself and/or the crowd long enough. However, if there is little room to maneuver and perform his Act it becomes less effective.

Darkblade doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.
