Kelly is of statuesque height compared to the average for a Human woman, with what most would call an athletic build, her body is akin to the shape of a rectangle, with her waist, hip and bust measurements being similar. Her skin is pale while not looking ghostly which compliments her hair, which is sliver but not to the point it looks ageing. She wears her hair flowing in a hairstyle in which the front sides are braided from the forehead to the ends and pinned around a messy bun. Her face is heart shaped and she has a pair of shaped and arched eyebrows that hang above her almond shaped, emerald green eyes. Her nose is small and slim, her ears are narrow and her lips full. She generally fits in with the standards that are considered attractive among her species.
The galaxy at large is mainly a product of the Light Siders working with the Forceless. After finding an ancient tome, that spoke of Vahl, a goddess who represented the destructive nature of the Dark side of the Force; Kelly Mendes has dedicated her life to destroying as much of the Forceless' and Light Siders' world as possible. This attitude can lead to conflicts with superiors over jeopardising the mission for the sake of destruction, as well as place her life in danger when it doesn't need to be.
Kelly Mendes firmly believes in the total rule of the galaxy by the Dark Side of the Force. To achieve this, she must gain influence and power within her clan and the Brotherhood as a whole. This viewpoint often means her peers see Kelly as a schemer or a politician; sometimes this allows her access to contacts she would otherwise not have had otherwise. The downside of this is that it makes it harder for her to gain the trust of her colleagues, due to her perceived power hungry nature and differences in plans for the future.
Kelly Mendes has a deeply held belief that the Dark Side of the Force is superior to any other power out there. As a result of this Kelly Mendes has immersed herself in the Dark Side. This causes Kelly Mendes to respect her fellow dark siders, particularly those in her clan. Though she can tolerate the presence of them to fulfill her goals and those of her Clan, this leads to Kelly Mendes looking down on non-force sensitives and non-dark aligned force users as inferior.
To Kelly Mendes, the needs of the one outweigh the needs of the few or the many. This position comes from seeing that many also prioritise themselves over others, so for Kelly Mendes to be able to keep up, she must be just as cold and ruthless. There can be no room for others and their petty desires; it must all be about her. The disadvantage of this is she can appear totally uninterested in anyone else and leave her an outcast as she has always been.
Through a mixture of cocksure courage and arrogant swagger, Kelly Mendes will not back down from a challenge when called out, even if the wiser path is to walk away or let it go. Kelly Mendes's personality does tend to rub a lot of people the wrong way, which generally puts her into situations that escalate quickly to violence. While she may not be the one to always start a fight, she will always see it through to it’s conclusion. Some have tried to play a challenge off as idle banter, but when Kelly Mendes initiates or accepts a challenge, she does not hold back.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Kelly Mendes has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows her the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Kelly Mendes then uses her own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Kelly Mendes has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
