I am honored to award Chrome today with a Steel Cross. This award has always been closely tied to a member who acts as a peer leader and lightning rod for others to rally around. And I am satisfied that Chrome has demonstrated both the maturity as a peer leader and activity of a seasoned veteran to deserve this medal.

Since his last recognition, Chrome has participated in 40 competitions, logged 21 PvE Activities, and completed 4 Shadow Academy courses. In that same time, he has collected numerous awards: 11 Crescents (2 Cr-R, 1 Cr-A, 2 Cr-S, 3 Cr-E, 2 Cr-T, 1 Cr-Q), 2 Clusters of Graphite, and 130 Clusters of Earth. In addition, Chrome served as a peer leader in both Shadow Guard (of House Imperium) and Tacitus Athanasius (of House Excidium). In this capacity, Chrome served the members of both teams as a role model (with activity) and a leader (by helping share the game of Star Conflict to his members, linking competitions to members in chat, offering advice). He continues to be an advocate for activity and participation in his new Battle Team Tacitus Athanasius; providing discussion about competitions currently running, sharing his submissions when applicable, and encouraging others to join him. His maturity and control of the conversation with our younger members makes me content that Shadow has the support and peer leadership she needs to effectively grow the team.

Thank you for sharing your experience, providing the younger members with encouragement, and being an active and willing part of House Excidium. I cannot wait to see what you do next as your story advances in the Brotherhood. Keep up the excellent work!
