Body
Lavanth is a tall, thinly built male. His torso is covered in burn marks and scars. He has pale white skin that is covered in black stripes all over his body. His montrals are covered in red stripes. His face is normal except for various burns on his cheeks and chin
Clothing
He tends to wear a black jacket and pants. He wears a black helmet and has a silver bar running over his eyes to hide them and the burns. His mouth and chin are the only facial features that are exposed He also has a belt that keeps extra magazines on hand. He keeps his favored twin Reynolds ("Ebony" and "Night") on his hips.
Lavanth can only see darkness. This also affects his views of people. He believes that no one ever changes. People who are evil will remain so and those who are good will remain so. Temporary change is possible but everyone goes back to the original them in the end. This leads to Lavanth's inherent distrust of everyone.
Lavanth is physically blind. His eyes suffered terrible burns and were unable to be healed in time. Now he uses his montrals, perception, and intellect to create a sort of mental map in his head to navigate the world around him. While he has learned to tune out most minor noises, very loud noises tend to disrupt his map and cause him to be unsure of where he is currently.
Lavanth often jokes about his own blindness. It's his way of coping with it, yet if others he doesn't know try to make jokes about his lack of sight he takes offence and can be prone to threatening or hostility.
Lavanth has a hard time trusting others. This can lead to him giving other members a hard time or just being unkind to them. If however they earn his trust, they earn his undying loyalty.
Despite being physically blind, Lavanth has trained rigorously to use his Montrals' echolocation abilities alongside his Sense and Precognition to better handle threats that enter his sphere of awareness. This allows him to recognize threats quicker and gives him more time to act, but he is still limited in his ability to pinpoint targets. To compensate, he will often fire more bullets than needed, which can create an effective killzone. While lethal, this tactic often disregards collateral damage and makes it difficult for him to fight effectively in a team, and leaves him vulnerable to longer ranged attackers that keep outside of his "zone".
Lavanth knows that his biggest disadvantage is that he can't see. He has learned that sight almost guarantees victory. To counter act his disadvantage, he attempts to leave his opponents as blind as he is. Using the environment to his advantage to hide and ambush. He only issue is sometimes there just isn't a place to hide...
