Since joining our club, Torin has repeatedly surprised me with his hunger for getting things done. He is an excellent student of the Shadow Academy, and has two Pundits, three Mavens and a Savant. He has jumped into the current Clan-wide competition, the Tales of New Tython, with fervor and (from what I hear) quality submissions. He has also participated in a number of other competitions on the House, Clan and Brotherhood levels, and has shown a lot of promise in his activity.

Outside of his activity, he is quiet, thoughtful and has some good ideas in his mind for where he wants to take his character, something which I look forward to seeing first-hand. He has proven himself a good example of an up-and-coming member, and I am proud to endorse his promotion to Defender.

Torin Ardell is a breath of fresh air. Having just seem Odan-Urr elevate to Clan status, it excites me to see new blood of this quality fill our membership. His level of activity is exactly what we need to preserve with such a fun and caring atmosphere. He has been a top participant in this last month, and will make an exceptional Jedi Knight if this level of dedication is maintained. Congratulations!

Im late to the game here, but everyone here highlighted the efforts of Torin. I know he has been filling my email up with SA stuff. I know that whenever I email him about what he needs for his next promotion it is done within 24 hours. I also know that for the past 4 days he has only been waiting on his time in rank to pass. Lastly when I told him we were just waiting on time in rank he was asking what he could start on for his next promotion.

THis is the kind of member that will make their way to the Dark Summit given time. Congrats man! Two more promotions to go until that big Juliet Kilo (JK)!

Before my brother got me to join I had floated the idea of making a Jawa Jedi but after looking over the options in the character sheet creator and seeing no Jawa option I decided on a Rodian after finding a pretty sweet looking pic of a Rodian Jedi on google. I was never really that invested in the character though and after thinking it over for the last week and having a read of the Odan-Urr articles on the wiki I started to come up with an idea for a character that I found more interesting.
