Alethia Archenksova - Arch for short - has been an exemplary leader, working closely with the Dark Council and the rest of the Consuls to bring the best experience to our members. As Consul of our largest unit and our unit most focused on the light side, Arch has a unique set of challenges to face in representing both his members desires to the Dark Council, and in helping his clan develop in ways that best fits the Brotherhood's future fictional direction. Arch frequently must work to diffuse conflict across multiple levels and to ensure that members and leaders know that they are being heard and that their feedback is being used in a productive way, something he excels at. Arch goes above and beyond a typical leader of our club, as evidenced by a recent breakdown he did for the GM and DGM of long-term trends in general member activity, particularly as it relates to COU. Moreover, Arch deserves credit for his unit's strong activity, as evidenced by more than 1200 competition entries in the first two quarters of the year alone, along with the highest proportion of active members in the club, despite frequently having the largest roster size. Arch is a frequent and thoughtful contributor to discussions amongst Consuls and the Dark Council, providing measured and useful feedback at his every opportunity. Beyond his work as Consul, Arch has served on the Appeals Panel, as a Judge in the ACC, and as a proofing asset for Atra on ACC assets, as described below..

Additionally, Arch has organized or co-organized 36 competitions and participated in a total of 84 competitions. His gaming activities account for 14 PvE and PvP activities. He has graded 2 exams in the Shadow Academy, passed 4 courses and posted 11 News posts on the website. Arch’s fiction activity includes a total of 11990 words written, 9 non-ACC activities, 1 ACC match and judged 2 ACC battles, and written/edited numerous fictional clan updates. Among the myriad awards he has earned, a Silver Nova, 8 Scrolls of Foundation and 15 Seals of Wrath.

Arch is one of our most valuable leaders and we are glad to work with him daily to make the Brotherhood a better place. Congratulations on the Ruby Scepter, Arch!

Served on the Chamber of Justice Appeals panel for the 2017 term (which ran until Feb 26, 2018). This term on the appeals panel was largely uneventful, only requiring one assembly for the purpose of reviewing an Order of Advanced Incarceration. However, the appeals panelists all remained on-call and were a pleasure to work with on staff.

I honestly don't know how someone can do all the things that Arch does and still be considered sane. He's been a long-time member of Odan-Urr, is the current Exarch and Right Hand of Justice, all while putting up big numbers and burning through competitions in his spare time between work, family, and other projects.

In Odan-Urr, Arch's presence has always been more than welcome. He's always willing to guide and teach others, support the Clan and it’s endeavors and offers to do the little things that are often overlooked. For example, he recently went through our entire library of Clan fictions, sorted them in chronological order, and assigned them numbers to provide us with a more straightforward and organized catalog.

Recently, he played a significant role in planning for our Clan's reconstruction and drafting the document used to propose our new fictional direction and provide ideas for how we currently operate as a Summit. His insight, especially from an Ex-Consul's perspective, has dramatically improved how the Summit works by reducing waste and alleviating many of the issues of more bloated Summits. Additionally, while planning our new storyline, Arch contributed fresh ideas. While I can't provide details, as the story is unfolding, his experienced eyes on the project helped bring it all together.

Now for some numbers, since his last award, he's participated in 224 competitions earning himself 14 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 20 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 41 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 36 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 17 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 7 Crescents with Topaz Stars and 2 Crescents with Quartz Stars. Fiction wise he's written a total of 12,773 words in 2 ACC battles and 14 Fiction Activities, earning himself 39 Clusters of Ice. For gaming, he's gained 1 Pendant of Blood, 37 Clusters of Fire, and 4 Clusters of Earth in 13 Gaming Activities. He's also earned 3 Dark Side Scrolls, 1 Scroll of the Master, 11 Legion of the Scholar, and 1 Seal of Loyalty. For his efforts during the last RoS, Arch had full bin participation and earned 2 Gold Nova, 3 Silver Nova, 2 Bronze Nova, and 14 Seals of Enmity. He has also completed 7 Shadow Academy courses and earned 2 Degrees. While not only a consumer of competitions, Arch has also organized 41 competitions, many of those for our 10th Anniversary Event and as QUA of House Sunrider.

Arch, I can't say it enough. Thank you immensely for the effort you have put into this Clan and the Club as a whole. We wouldn't be where we are today if not for volunteering all your time and skills. You’ve more than earned this Ruby Scepter, Congratulations!

Arch is the best kind of thorn in my side. As one of my Hands, he has been an instrumental part of the continual monitoring and mediation of issues within the club. Within the capacity of his duties, Arch has had the opportunity to be directly involved in the investigation of potential cloning cases, alongside contacting new joins that trigger matches with existing accounts. This is in addition to his constant voice in the observation and discussion of behaviors and potential cases.

The Chamber of Justice is somewhat of a black box. If we're doing our job, you have no idea what we're doing, and that's the way I like it. But sometimes you gotta air out what the spooks are up to. In Arch's case, he's a beast of an investigator. He is able to compile and articulate extensive case details and background, drawing a factual line of events that can be presented for clear understanding. He has been instrumental in making my life a million times easier when it comes to the compilation of case documentation. Additionally, he has been a huge help in investigating and understanding IP locations and correlations.

It would be easy to sit back and push for punishments, as is his role, but Arch shows an understanding of the inherent fairness the system is designed to represent. He advocates for slow and methodical conclusions that allow for every positive possibility before falling onto the negative. He isn't punitive, but logical, and I appreciate that immensely.

I would not be lying to say that my transition onto the Chamber would have been infinitely more burdensome without his presence and I can't state enough how much that has meant to me and the workings of this club, for all members. Thank you, Arch, and you deserve this.

Arch does things he doesn't have to do as HM. He builds spreadsheets no asked for just so he can whip them out in a DC debate, but he also takes it upon himself to prepare quarterly stats reports for the club as a whole and for each of the seven clans. Much of that work is now automated, but he doesn't just spit the sheets out and leave CONs to decipher them, he also provides succinct analysis and recommendations. The CONs find them useful; I find them useful. And it isn't in his job description.

What is in his job description is working to improve the SA, to make it more useful to new and old members alike and to keep it updated. That alone is a ton of work and not particularly glamorous, and he's put in the effort with his staff to get it done. He rewrote most of the Essentials courses, helped get the new Recognizing Members course out to address XP's changes to medals and promotions, and has several other major projects in the works. At the same time he has streamlined the unwieldy SA staff and put together two of the best GJW comps ever, hands down.

Like most of the current DC, Arch is also a regular (and vocal) contributor to discussions. He's wrong a lot but he keeps showing up for more. Congrats, Arch!

Well, well, well...who let the bird in?

This guy is probably my favourite member to get yelled at by, Howie aside, and that's saying something all on its own. Do I even need a rec beyond that? Hm, I suppose so.

Arch serves many functions, some of which include but may not be limited to: sounding board, he who calls out BS, idea's guy, and meme-ster. What I've always appreciated about Arch is that he'll never be the yes man in the room. He'll, instead, be the first to cry foul and tell you exactly how it goes. Then that's followed by a lot of hard data that even I wouldn't gather just to prove a point. Well played.

But that's just what goes on behind the scenes. What ends up before the members is a complete focus on the experience. With the Shadow Academy, that shows itself as a long-term redesign with a focus on ease of completion. But also being informative. Everyone should be able to go through the basic courses and be able to utilize the base functions of our club, or at least that's the goal. One Arch is continually hitting. Then came a fresh approach to what had become a sort of automated approach to GJW trivia competitions. It offered a mix between competitive and easy participation. I, for one, loved it. But I also embrace chaos, so what do I know?

I'm so very glad to talk you up once again in a recommendation, and I offer my sincere congratulations.
