Sometimes you get lucky when you hire someone, and sometimes you have an idea of what you're getting. To say Rhylance has blown expectations away this past year would be an understatement. He's been a fantastic Summitter, Leader, and Member.
With 34 competitions organized, and another co-organized, he's been helping drive activity. With a staggering 137 participated in, he's proving to not just be a competition runner, but a competititor. His competition rewards have garnered him 2 Diamond Crescents, 19 Ruby, 10 Amethyst, 9 Sapphire, 2 Emerald, 4 Topaz, and 1 of the elusive Quartz stars!
Not to mention his Rites of Supremacy push gaining him a Silver Nova and a pair of Bronze to top it all off!
He's shown his gaming chops, a more recent affair, with 22 PvP and 3 PvE activities and 98 Clusters Fire.
On the fiction side he's completed 8 ACC Battles, 17 Fiction Activities including over 7,000 words written, and another 2,500 over 4 Run On Posts! He's picked up a respectable 52 Clusters of Ice for his efforts, as well as 26 Clusters of Graphite!
He's not negelcted his training, either, with 27 Academy Courses passed and 8 Degrees completed. On the flip side of that is his efforts to mentor, earning a Scroll of the Master!
While I cannot speak for his last month holding the office of Consul in Taldryan, I can say with assurance that his 7 months as a Quaestor for House Qel-Droma have been productive. From pushing members to activity and running House events (Shadow Port in Shambles is the love child of he and his Aedile, Lucine), Rhylance has been a solid member of the Arconan Summit.
As such, it is my honor and pleasure to bestow upon the 'Science Chiss' this Sapphire Blade, may it make many accurate incisions! Congratulations, man, you earned it.

Rhylance has proven himself to be an exemplary member of Arcona. I will leave it to Kord to detail the specifics of his activity, but I will tell you that he is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to activity, both in participating in competitions and creating competitions for others to participate in.
But Rhylance’s dedication and commitment to the DJB goes much deeper than that. I have had the opportunity to work closely with him since his appointment to Quaestor of House Qel-Droma. He personifies the ‘lead by example’ style, serving as an inspiration for the newer members. Furthermore, he maintains a constant friendly presence on Telegram, where he is diligent in hyping events and providing encouragement for others.
As Quaestor of House Qel-Droma, he is approachable, dependable, and hard-working. Despite his relative newness to the clan, he has worked tirelessly to get up to speed on Arconan history and lore so that he could make valuable contributions to the House storyline. Furthermore, he puts up with my antics, which makes him a veritable saint.
For all of his hard work and effort, I am happy to add my voice to those recommending a Sapphire Blade for him. Congratulations, Chissy-face! It’s an honor to work with you!

In the seven months since Rhylance joined Arcona's Summit, he has proven himself to be an exemplary addition to Arcona's leadership team. While Kordath has detailed the statistics above, Rhylance has proven himself to be incredibly supportive of his members, constantly interactive, often engaging them fictionally and helping them to explore their characters and their place within the House and Clan. He can frequently be found building up his members, and helping to build up a community in the process. He can often be found proposing Hangouts, community card games, gaming, and group writing sessions in an effort to build and strengthen ties between his members.
When he's not fostering activity in others, he is a paragon of activity himself. In the past year he has organized or participated in nearly 200 competitions, and he constantly leads by example when it comes to inspiring member activity. His numerous Crescents and Novae in the same period testify to the level of skill he brings to these activities.
As Lucine has attested to, he is readily available and always approachable, as both a leader and a sounding board. His dedication and his work ethic are enviable, and his even-keeled personality brings a calm center to the often frenetic pace that is a hallmark of Arcona. You couldn't ask for a better Quaestor.
For his tireless effort, his skill, and his dedication to both his unit and his members, it is my privilege to recommend Rhylance be awarded a Sapphire Blade.
