Fictionally speaking, the horrors that my already conflicted character faced in the war have shaken him as an individual and in his devotion to the dark side, and he's chosen to abandon Arcona and seek refuge with the Jedi of Odan-Urr, in the hopes that they will forgive him and grant him amnesty, and hopefully even train him in the ways of the Jedi.
