TuQ'uan has a darker complexion, being only a few shades lighter than crimson and eyes black as the void of space. A four inch scar runs along his neck starting directly below his left ear and moving towards his throat. Less visible scars can be found on his torso including a prominent puncture wound about an inch and a half in diameter on his lower left hand abdomen. Like all members of the Kel Dor species, TuQ'uan always wears his Antiox mask and goggles. Standing with a straight back, TuQ'uan exudes an air of pride and confidence.
TuQ'uan Varick does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know TuQ'uan Varick will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows TuQ'uan Varick around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.
TuQ'uan Varick is a master of the 'tricks of the trade' - the cheating and stealing trade, that is. With a certain propensity and natural talent for stealth and thievery, TuQ'uan Varick is a professional when it comes to crimes, from minor to major. Sometimes it is as simple as a few more favorable cards in a hand to a set of sticky fingers to something as big as a heist. Either way, TuQ'uan Varick knows his way around a job. However, everyone is bound to get caught eventually, and reputations have a way of finding a way to bite you in the rear. . . not to mention those looking to extract a little vengeance.
TuQ’uan is prideful man, he believes himself to be one of the best in everything he does and he will attempt to let others know this too. This isn't to say that the pride isn't warranted but it can also be his downfall. He will go out of his way to show someone that he is as good as he says he is which can sometimes leave him in over his head.
TuQ’uan Varick has pulled off countless jobs over the years. Some large, some small. All successful. TuQ’uan attributes this not only to his skill but to his good luck charm, his hat. This wide brimmed hat is much more that a good luck charm however, it is a trophy of TuQ’uan’s true independence taken from a former mentor and it has barely left his head since its acquisition, and when it does it is with great reluctance. TuQ’uan can be superstitious in regards to his hat and feels odd and uncomfortable when not wearing it.
TuQ’uan grew up knowing the power of technology. A lot can happen when you have access to the right terminal. Over the years he has honed his slicing skills, priding himself in his ability to crack a system and sometimes even giving himself remote access through the datapad he always carries. But for TuQ’uan this is just the tip of the iceberg. TuQ’uan uses this to manipulate the environment around him, from shutting off power to one area to causing an gas explosion in another he will use this to attack, escape or distract. The problem with this is if there is no tech to manipulate, he must rely on his own skill.
TuQ’uan isn't one to shy away from getting his hand dirty. Skilled with a blaster, TuQ’uan has been known to take a life from time to time, but that doesn't mean he goes looking for a fight; the fight usually finds him though. When confronted he will go for it headstrong and confident even when clearly outmatched. This has been know, in many cases, to get him into trouble.
