Corvin Rootai has a shock of shoulder-length platinum-blonde hair, is taller than the average of his species, and has sunken white eyes. He has noble features comprising of a high forehead, high cheekbones, arched eyebrows the end of which hide in his forehead hair, and an aquiline nose. Considered handsome by his species, Corvin has a slim V-shaped build, and pale white skin.

The Armory E-11 Blaster Rifle is a weapon given to all who exit the halls of the Shadow Academy to join a Clan of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. It is a light blaster rifle that is accurate at close range, with a flex sight that makes it accurate out to medium-range as well. However, it is designed as a standardized blaster weapon made of easy to recycle parts making customization impossible.

The Personal Energy Shield Generator is a belt worn energy shield projected around its wearer that provides limited protection against energy weapons while providing no protection from kinetic or thermal energy. In typical use, it will short out after several blaster bolts or a single strike from a lightsaber.

The Goggles are protective wear for eyes. Worn tightly over the eyes to allow the wearer to see in situations where the environment would make it difficult to otherwise as well as prevent injury to the eyes.

It also has a built-in design to explode if attempts are made to improperly remove it, the ability to remotely detonate via a transmitter, and a dynamic voltage suite accessed remotely via datapad allowing an operator to fine tune its shock power while practicing the art of torture.

Corvin comes from a long line of the royal Rootai clan of Umbara. Young and far from the throne, of whose politics he never really liked. he decided to try his hands in the military of the Dark Brotherhood serving as a strategist and sniper when the situation calls for it. However, his demeanor still has the polish befitting one from the Rootai bloodline. He bears himself proudly, is charming in society, efficient at work, yet haughty and cold with subordinates and those he is not acquainted with.
Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Corvin Rootai creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Corvin Rootai creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Corvin Rootai is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Corvin Rootai to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Corvin Rootai can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
Corvin Rootai believes in getting whatever he wants through manipulating others, and he usually does attempt the same. Whether it is manipulating a person or a group directly, or seducing someone, he is highly skilled in what he does. However, due to is calculating and manipulative nature, people are less likely to trust him.
Without the gift of the Force, Corvin Rootai has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Corvin Rootai has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
Corvin Rootai vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
