Von Ricmore is a member of the Skakoan race. He stands amongst the taller members of his species at 2.3 meters. He weighs 92 kilos due to the musculature he has worked to develop as well as the pressure suit he is required to wear in most environments. He has purple skin with black eyes that have a small sliver of pink. Von bears a very muscular physique for his race but this is rarely seen due to his need to wear a pressure suit.
Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Von Ricmore has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Von Ricmore's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Von Ricmore's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.
Von has developed a bit of a reputation for insubordination despite his military training. He has developed a very present minded focus, willing to alter plans and reallocate resources in order to achieve successes in his operations. This behavior allows Von flexibility when it comes to adapting to different situations but has a potential to draw the ire of his superiors.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Von Ricmore's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
The Force binds all living things together, this is a fact that Von Ricmore is well aware of. This connection makes life, especially intelligent life, precious to Von. While the loss of life in combat is sometimes unavoidable Von will actively seek solutions that limit the amount of casualties whenever possible. Von’s priority of sentient life over completing a mission quickly can potentially drive a rift between him and more efficient teammates. It also may cause fellow Sith to see Von as weak due to his distaste for needless death.
It is said that the Dragonsnake "waits below the surface of the water until it can catch its next prey." This form seeks to emulate that as the user remains still when movement is not required in order to conserve energy. The user employs the deceptiveness of Niman to lull their opponent into thinking they are unprepared or unwilling to fight. But when conflict is necessary they strike with the precision of Makashi. This form is a fusion of Niman and Makashi which emphasizes conservation of energy as well as precise and fluid movement. This form is meant to be a close range defensive style that employs sudden quick counters. It lacks options when a user needs to close long distances forcing the user to block attacks as they slowly advance. It lacks the acrobatic motions of other forms so users will find mid air and pursuit combat to be difficult.
As he has changed and grown more experienced Von Ricmore has developed a sense of pride in his abilities. This pride, alongside what he perceives to be the failings of others, has led him to develop a do it yourself attitude. Whether personally overseeing a battlefield or besting an enemy commander in an honor duel, The Skakoan has a need to be present during the action. Von’s confidence and pride can be used to easily bait him into situations, whether it is a conflict or an argument that he is unprepared for. However this attitude also allows him to quickly respond to the chaotic nature of any battlefield he finds himself on, taking charge and doing his best to ensure a victory.
