While Trenkyp Zkig will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Trenkyp Zkig's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Trenkyp Zkig's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Trenkyp Zkig, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
When most people hear of Force users they picture the legendary Jedi Knights who guarded the Republic for thousands of years. These mythical figures were said to posses great virtue, wisdom and valor in combat. These descriptions do not represent Trenkyp at all, except maybe that last one. Trenkyp is a Kel Dor who does what he believes must be done. Some people may find that upsetting, but at the end of the day Trenkyp will always do what he feels is right regardless of consequences.
Trenkyp only kills armed targets, never a defenseless person. If he's fighting for Credits, he might wiggle around the definition of armed, but if they don't have anything blunt, sharp or that can harm him in any way he will not do the kill. He does that for honor, but mostly for the illusion of "maintaining the balance between Light and Dark" in himself. If the target is abducted however, he will attempt to take out the kidnappers before taking out the target itself unless it's done for the Brotherhood, as he believes that killing the helpless is the least honorable action someone would do.
Trenkyp Zkig manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Trenkyp Zkig will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Trenkyp Zkig's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.
Trenkyp is borderline sadistic when fighting against weaker enemies. He lures them, gives them false opportunities to harm him and once he kills them, he does so in very painful and gory ways. If whoever he's fighting lasts more than 10 seconds, they earn his respect as a true warrior and he might even invite them to another duel some other time. If they survive.
Trenkyp Zkig has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only he could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
