Ellac Conrat, Quaestor
A brawny man still in his twenties, Ellac Conrat has become living poster board of pain and hard lessons despite his age: Silvery scars and pale pink burns mark his tanned skin at random points, the most notable of such being a long gash that lay across the left side of his face, stretching at a slight angle from the middle of his cheek over his missing left eye to just under his hairline. The skin of his left shoulder has been left marred and torn where the cybernetic replacement for his arm had been gruesomely grafted in. Contrasting with his mangled appearance, his remaining green eye and light brown hair that he keeps trimmed short remain the only traces of the man Ellac had once been.

The HK-model Gladiator Droid, also known as the HK Assassin Unit, is a highly advanced combat and protocol droid designed for subterfuge, infiltration, and combat. It has advanced protocols and redundancies that allow it to continue to fight until the very end and serve as an excellent infiltration droid.
Tactical Jammer
A tactical jammer has been installed into the chassis of this HK-model Gladiator Droid, allowing it to jam nearby sensor sweeps and render itself invisible to these searches.
Automated Repair (Experimental)
An experimental automated repair system has been installed on this HK-model Gladiator Droid, giving it an ability to perform or assist in the performance of self-diagnosis and self-repair of its mechanical systems. This system slows the droid while it assesses any necessary repairs when dealing with heavy damage, and can perform very basic tasks or actions while assessing necessary repairs.
Blood Red
This HK-series assassin has nearly all of its external panels painted a deep and rich red, resembling the color of fresh blood. The few panels that have not been painted red remain a semi-glossy black to help accentuate the tone of the other panels.
Sarcastic Tendencies
HK-89 Assassin Droid has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, HK-89 Assassin Droid comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.
Embedded Rocket Launchers

The affects can vary from the numbing, paralysis, or slowing of limbs to halting breathing and inducing seizures or sleep. Ellac Conrat somehow always finds himself in tricky situations that put him in over his head. As such, Ellac Conrat always seems to be digging himself out of some kind of dilemma. While this speaks to Ellac Conrat’s ability to think outside the box to find solutions, his moral code often gets in the way of taking the easy way out.
Even as a boy, Ellac had been no stranger to suffering, growing up with his mother and sister under their abusive father on his homeworld of Raxus Secundus. But when he was forced to watch helplessly as his mother died at his father's hands, the fear Ellac felt took a whole new form, and for the first time in his life, his passion would give him the power he needed to take his life into his own hands.
Since that fateful day, his chains now broken, Ellac has dedicated his life to forging himself into an unstoppable force, using his pain, fear, and rage to fuel his unrelenting pursuit of greater power, no matter the cost.
It is said that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, but life has taught Ellac otherwise. A strong believer in vengeance, he will put everything on the line to settle a score, never forgiving, and never forgetting his "debt" until he pays it back tenfold.
Ellac has had no shortage of tormentors bearing down on him throughout his life, and from a young age was forced to learn the cruel nature of this life: All that is in this galaxy belongs to those with the will to take it.
Committing himself to that philosophy, Ellac has fought his way through a deck stacked against him with an indomitable will, carving his way through any obstacle that lay between him and his goals, no matter what or who they may be.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Ellac Conrat prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Ellac Conrat rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Ellac Conrat is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Ellac Conrat's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
Ellac Conrat possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Ellac Conrat does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
