It’s been nearly a year since Ahathr’iss’asapla (henceforth referred to as Thrissa because it’s easier for me to spell correctly) rocketed his way into the DB and found his way to Plagueis, quickly carving out a spot for himself in the clan and making a splash in the larger community. While the site tells us that he has enough xp for a promotion, it doesn’t tell us a whole lot about who Thrissa is as a member. I guess that’s up to me!
So what can I say about Thrissa that could accurately describe the impact that he has had on both the clan and the club? I could mention the 21 competitions he’s participated in, or the 7 placements since his last promotion, but Slags already covered that when awarding Thrissa a Steel Cross mere days ago. That’s right, Thrissa has been working so hard that this promotion comes hot on the heels of a medal!! I could talk about Thrissa’s willingness to attempt new things and try out Roleplaying within the club for the first time earning his first rank in the Envoy Corps. I could also talk about Thrissa’s thirst for knowledge that led to him completing a whole pile of shadow academy courses and earning a handful of degrees, or the staggering amount of courses graded as Magistrate to the Headmaster, but that’s been covered in great detail already.
On a more personal note, in the time since Thrissa has joined us I have had the pleasure of getting to know him better and I’ve learnt that Thrissa is an extremely passionate member, diving headfirst into learning more about the clan and the club, he is always willing to ask questions, listen to reasoning and ready to learn as much as he can. He has become a staple of Plag, always there to show up and help his team in major events like our most recent Pro Bowl where he made a commendable effort in helping the Rotworms. He has taken the time to interact with and get to know his fellow members, forging connections and helping the community to thrive. Thrissa has quickly become a member that I am proud to not only call a clan mate, but also a friend. It is a great honour that I can be the one to write this and welcome Thrissa into the ranks of Equite, this is a huge step in the brotherhood and one that Thrissa is well deserving of. Congratulations Thrissa, I know that there will be many more of these to come, so keep shooting for the stars!

Thrissa has continued to maintain a consistent level of activity for Clan Plagueis. Since their last promotion, they have completed entries for 21 non-container competitions. For those entries, they earned the following crescents: 1 Amethyst, 1 Sapphire, 4 Emerald, and 1 Topaz. For their fiction submissions, Thrissa also earned 1 Cluster of Ice for their fiction activity. On the tracked side of the Shadow Academy, he passed 12 SA courses to earn 4 degrees while also having graded 79 total courses and earned 19 Scrolls of Foundation. He has also ranked up in the Envoy Corps society as well.

Thrissa reviewed every active SA course outside the leadership and writing departments for autograded exams that did not have wrong answer hints provided, which turned out to be most of them. Thrissa has crossed the threshold for a grand award: the Grand Cross! Thrissa is an incredibly valuable member of Plagueis, ever present in chat and with participation numbers that shine. On the occasion of this award, Thrissa has not only gained advanced standing in the Aurora Collegium (three times over I might add), they have joined it as a Magistrate! Somehow grading more exams than they took at 36 graded to 22 passed, Thrissa has inspired their fellow Magistrates to invest in extinguishers over this hot streak.
Besides their dedication to the SA, Thrissa has also pushed forward in competitions with 7 participations and even bashed out some RP.
Phenomenal job, Ahathr'iss'asapla. You are truly deserving of this medal and are sure to earn many more in short order.
