Where to start with Kav? We can go over her astounding activitiy. 49 competitions completed since her last promotion in February, earning 3 Ruby Crescents, 7 Amethyst Crescents, 10 Sapphire Crescents, 3 Emerald Crescents, 1 Topaz Crescent and 1 Quartz Crescent. She has progressed through the different societies, increasing her Envoy rank by three, her Inquisitorous rank by two, and both her Royal Guard and Shroud Syndicate rank by one. When it comes to general activity, she submitted 5072 words of regular fiction and 9748 words through RPs, collecting a total of 33 clusters of ice. Through her gaming activities she collected 94 clusters of fire, and through her art collected 58 clusters of graphite.
However, Kav is not just a set of impressive activity numbers. She has been helping me run Hoth for quite some time now. As a Battleteam leader for the Knights of Allusis she was always striving to give her team the best content they could get. Since becoming Aedile to Hoth, she has continued that trend, keeping up with giving competitions to the House. She has been helping with the new Hoth storyline and is constantly engaging in the Discord to keep members of the House engaged. She has been an amazing Aedile, and I look forward to continuing to work with her. Congradulations on the promotion Kav!

Where can I begin that I haven't already spoken about Kav? An amazing font of activity, energy, and positivity in Odan-Urr, she has been consistent in her efforts to better the clan, both before and after she became a member of our Summit, and all along her journey into the higher ranks of leadership. In short order, she's taken on the journey from fresh recruit to leader to Council Staff member, joining the Herald's Staff as a Magistrate under the newly (re)appointed Vyr.
Kav's meteoric rise through the Brotherhood is one I'm watching with great pride, having recruited them to the Brotherhood from a previous community. Seeing her arrive and thrive has been a wonderful journey of its own, and I look forward to the years ahead and what future heights she'll climb to in our community.

Syrena has been a staple of Odan-Urr. Ever since she first took the banner of the Knights of Allusis as their Battle Team Leader, where she brought a new life to the unit, revised their home base, and worked with her members to define a new generation of the KoA, invigorating the active members of her team and House Hoth. When she was promoted, she carried that same energy forward as Aedile of House Hoth. Never one to shy away from educating our newer members, teaching our old dogs new tricks, or just showing everyone how to have a good time, Syrena has brought a unique kind of light to our Clan. As Aedile, she has helped carry the torch during her Quaestor's recent absences, communicating with the upper Summit to solidify plans for our ongoing events, offering material support for the Western Marches and House Hoth's internal events, and helped organize our rather disheveled systems, all while she devised new programs and storylines of her own, as well as continued the work she started as the Knight-Commander of the Knights of Allusis, working alongside her successor in the summit to effect a seamless transition, clarification of assets, and future outlook for the unit. Oftentimes, the biggest changes come from the softest voices. Syrena has been a living testament to this statement, leaving an indelible mark on the Clan and each member she interacts with.
Her activities go beyond the intangible, as well, having organized 17 competitions since February and participating in another 65. She's taken part in 10 gaming activities and 11 Fiction Activities, including 4 regular fictions totaling 5,072 words, and 7 roleplays totaling 9,748 words. She has also passed 8 courses in the Shadow Academy, been promoted to Equite 2, earned 7 promotions in Societies, 1 in the GMRG, 2 in the Inquisitorious, 1 in the Shroud Syndicate, and 3 in the Envoy Corps as a participant. She has also earned a Bronze Nova, 3 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 7 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 10 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 2 Crescents with Emerald Stars, a Crescent with a Topaz Star, a Crescent with a Quartz Star, 94 Clusters of Fire, 33 Clusters of Ice, 50 Cluster of Graphite, and her first Seal of Loyalty.

Syrena has been a great new addition to the Herald staff and a revelation by all standards. So far she has completed a high quality custom robe and a the Speaker droid Accessory for May the 4th. She has also been proactive in improving her graphics skills and her workflow in the staff with me through video calls. She's a great addition to our team and I'm proud of her work so far.

Every year on May 4th, we award Seals of Loyalty to members nominated by the DC and Consuls--typically one per DC, two per CON. Normally I would have asked for those nominations last week, but this year we're doing something different. In November 2015 (we used to do SoLs twice a year), eagerly awaiting the release of The Force Awakens, Sarin awarded SoLs to all Clanned and positioned members in the club. This year, we're taking a page out of Sarin's book: every member of the club who has logged into the website between January 1, 2025 and May 4, 2025 will receive a Seal of Loyalty. That this club has not just lasted but thrived for 30 years is a remarkable testament to our community, the leaders at all levels who have kept the ship on course, and especially our members who keep engaging year after year.
