Since earning his last activity based award 12 months ago, Ben has been quite the active Sith. He has participated in 87 competitions, earning himself 30 Crescents (3 Diamond, 7 Ruby, 7 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, 4 Emerald, 1 Topaz, & 4 Quartz). He also earned himself a Sapphire Blade due to his work as one of the temporary members of the Star Chamber where he debated various matters of great significance to the entire club (for those interested in learning more, I refer you to the recommendation for said award). During the 16th Great Jedi War he earned himself 2 Seals of Transcendence. Benevolent also earned 2 Clusters of Graphite. On the side of Societies, he’s elevated his rank in the various societies one time.
On the social side, Ben is a constant presence. Interacting with everyone on Discord and always ready to pitch in with shards of wisdom, jokes, or advice when needed. He is one of the pillars of Taldryan’s social atmosphere.

The Dark Brotherhood Covenant formerly established temporary membership to the Star Chamber in 2017. Temporary membership in the Star Chamber requires senior Dark Jedi Brotherhood members who have shown an inherent desire to improve and protect the Dark Brotherhood. Temporary members are required to show high levels of discretion on topics ranging from the approval of a Grand Master to approving major club changes.
The Dark Brotherhood has been blessed to have several members serve in this role and do so with distinction. The following actions took place under the temporary member’s terms:
- The ratification of the Electorate’s Vote on two Grand Masters and three Justicars.
- Discussion and Approval of redefining the roles of Clan Leaders in our Club’s voting processes and the amendment of a Covenant Article to redefine the procedures for abstaining from Electorate level voting.
- The discussion and approval of moving the recruitment Tribune to a DC level position and thus expanding the Electorate DC votes to 9.
- The discussion on time sensitive leadership decisions to include the removal of summit level leaders for cause.
- Discussion and Approval of the Shadow Academies restructuring and the updating of the Headmaster’s Duties and Responsibilities.
- The reception, commentary, and vote of confidence in two different Grand Master’s club wide updates to the Star Chamber.
- A discussion and ultimately concurrence with the Grand Master on the process for new recruits entering the Dark Brotherhood. The aggressive downvoting of Sarin’s idea to put all new recruits in the Emissary’s Clan until they reach a certain rank (lols).
- Discussion and concurrence on the creation of a new Role Play society and its synergistic impact on multiple DJB systems and processes.
- Concurrence with the removal of the traditional Roll Master within the club.
- Maintaining exceptional decorum, maturity, and discretion while serving on the Star Chamber.
- Discussion and concurrence on updated crafting and possessions systems within the club.
