Primary reason: As my final official act as Consul, I wish to see Tarax promoted to the next Equite level. For over a year Tarax was a leader in Taldryan, first as Aedile and then as Quaestor of Dinaari. Although he has a...unique personality, his time one the Summit was fruitful. He ensured that the House stayed stable, while also acting as a great intermediary with the QUA at the time. In many cases he was the voice of reason (yes, hard to believe :P), and was the perfect foil for Vlad.

His activity and drive since his last promotion speak for itself: A GC; two ACs; two DCs; numerous CFs, crescents and participation in all major DB competitions. He was also a part of the MAA office and took up the roll of Trainer for Taldryan on the ACC staff. A true sign of his dedication was being named a Son of Taldryan...not an easy feat to be accomplished.

Tarax has done all that was asked of him, and carried the torch of leadership high for a very long time. I believe he is truly deserving of this honour. Congratulations!
