Appearance
C'ree is a half-Sephi hybrid whose loveliness, was it ever pristine, has been riddled by her many years immersed in the Dark Side of the Force. She is tall and imposing despite her thin build, with an athletic frame and tightly coiled muscles developed from far too many, far too bloody battles. Where once her skin was glimmering, pink and beautiful, it is now dry and drained, leaving only an inkling of the hue. Her hair has long since been shaved on one side, leaving long, dark locks falling over half of her head, all the way across her right shoulder. Her eyes are intensely violet, oftentimes receding into the corrupted dark red and blazing orange in her many episodic rages.
Distinguishing Marks
C'ree has many mementos and heirlooms all over her body. While not one for material things, she is often very sentimental about her tattoos. She has her family emblem tattooed under her left eye and over the bridge of her nose, with one blood red line carving a path across her lower lip. She also has another tattoo on the right side of her head, hidden by her raven locks. Often she will paint lavish designs of a tribal or ritual nature over her body to intimidate or draw attention; these can be anything from fake tattoos to painted death masks. As the most prominent feature on her damaged form, her fingertips are permanently charred from lightning, her skin shriveling and blackened with each further use of the power.
Attire
C'ree is often found wearing dark, tight-fitting tops that show off her curves, baggy skirts or pants that let her move without hindrance, and fingerless gloves showing her burnt fingers.
C'ree lives in inverted world. To her chaotic eyes, what's good and pristine is ugly and horrific, and what's dismal and barbaric is beautiful and pure. This is not a twist of positive thinking, but a full blown delusional state she is constantly affected by. Whether this continuous hallucination is due to her degraded mental state or some coping mechanism in response to her entire persona being little more than chaos incarnate, no one can say.
What is certain, however, is how her detachment from reality lends to her odd, off kilter mannerisms and further deepens the gulf between her and a normally functioning person. Worst, her delusion tends to enable her own self-destructive state, as she is attracted to situations and people that are, while to her eyes almost angelic, in reality harmful or violent influences compounding her cruelty rather than lessening it.
Despite C'ree's deranged turbulence in every other aspect of life, one thread remains steady: her loyalty to those she comes to see as family. Few people can stomach holding C'ree close, and those that do are precious to her, anchors to the world. While C'ree and her dark alter don't always have the same opinions of people, they do agree on protecting what's theirs, and will endeavor to make the lives of anyone who harms their "family" a living hell. This concept is, like all her other behaviors, unhealthy for its obsessiveness, but it does result in a fast ally or terrible enemy in the few rare cases that C'ree finds new kin. Furthermore, this loyalty will not just stop at a particular person C'ree fixates upon; anyone that person considers family also falls under C'ree's purview by extension, and so on, which can leave the unstable woman stretched thin.
C'ree is not alone in her own head - her body is shared between two minds. While C'ree is typically the one more in control, her passenger is a strong force made all the stronger for its connection to the Dark Side. Where C'ree is no saint, her other side is so much worse, inclined to acts of outright evil in every definition of the word. They are always fighting for dominance, C'ree to resist and her dark half to take over. When C'ree is angered, desperate, or in combat, her alter usually seizes control; but should that dark alter ever go too far, C'ree will reassert herself to prevent a truly abhorrent action, such as senseless murder.
The outward result is a cracked woman with seemingly no morality, one inclined to playfully frolicking through corpses as much as collapsing in corners, reduced to a whimpering shell of a person.
Anyone who meets C'ree is just as likely to find themselves face to face with a sinister psychopath as they are a timid, uncertain little girl. Her behavior is erratic, swinging from assertive to shy, explosively temperamental to soft-spoken, and destructive to protective. This, combined with a more common hateful attitude, sick sense of humor, and constantly judgmental gaze leaves those around her wary or uncomfortable both for her unpredictability and for her habit of lashing out at others.
Under this caustic and confusing surface, though, is a battle unseen. Naturally rather demure herself, C'ree is constantly frightened by her dark alter's macabre whispers and spiteful urgings, and while she may be hesitant with meeting new people and establishing relationships, that dark other in her head longs only for the most depraved brutality and bloodshed and is quick to anger when she doesn't get her way.
C’ree's fighting methods are nothing short of downright creepy. She will do everything in her power to make her opponent feel unnerved, uncomfortable, and hopelessly alone, through use of any tool at her disposal, be it her body or mind, including everything from demented taunts to licking her opponent's face if she gets close enough. Her jeers towards her playthings are perhaps her most disturbing antics, as she details how she will make them her “pet” and all the unimaginable ways she'd like to break them. If C’ree has the chance and opportunity, she will make the fight the most disturbing event in her enemy’s life for a chance at a winning advantage. Unfortunately, moving in so close to her opposition and focusing so on distracting them can leave her vulnerable, especially should her tricks fail.
Known in many circles as a "Force Witch", C’ree may seem mad, but there is a method to her madness: if possible, she always initiates combat through a sharply honed series of Force powers, typically keeping her distance. At the onset of battle, her unnerving visage and the application of Terror go hand in hand with her furious Lightning barrages. When her opponent is sufficiently unnerved or weakened, or C'ree's Force reserves grow diminished, she will quickly close in and rely on her most perfected tool: her long-handled lightsaber. This is where C’ree is most comfortable fighting, up close and personal where she uses intimidating strikes and other, much stranger tactics, leaving her targets open for to that final executioner's blow. Such tactics are taxing, however, and C'ree is forced to maintain a semblance of balance between the Force and blade, or risk overexerting herself early on in battle.
