<p>Having experienced countless wars and battles over the years, while also serving in a wide-range of leadership positions, there is very little that surprises Halcyon. For Halcyon, there is a little in the way of new or exciting, making his outlook on life jaded and cynical. Those who come to him to ideas on changes may be put off or brushed aside as in many cases he has already had some form of experience with whatever idea has been brought up. He strives to find experiences that are unique.</p>

Halcyon has had numerous years of experience on Dark Council positions that required him to make decisive decisions on a number of topics. Many of these decisions would either help or hinder another party within the Dark Brotherhood. As such, he has garnered a reputation over the years of being biased against one group or another. Although Halcyon believes his decisions were fair at the time, many other have disagreed and has caused him to garner a number of enemies.

<p>Halcyon has seen it all, and done it all. He has excelled in every aspect of their long career up until this point, and this had led him to truly believe that he can do any job better than most anyone else. Although Halcyon does not boast about this fact, he does embrace it and his interactions with others are derived from this fact, which can cause friction with many of those he deals with.

When Halcyon's hair began to turn a shade of green he decided to embrace the concept. All of his clothing and weaponry generally has some form of green in it. What was once more of a joke has become a bit of an obsessions, which nets Halcyon a number of comments from associates and sometimes even strangers. It also prevents him from blending in a crowd or even in battle. Only in rare cases will Halcyon forgo the green; generally when participating in a truly undercover operation where his identify must be hidden at all costs

Although possessing a formidable array of powers, Halcyon will not generally utilize all of his abilities. He does not feel the need to show-off or waste unnecessary energy if it is not called for. In battle, Halcyon will use whatever force is necessary to be successful. Only on the rare occasions that he is angered beyond belief will he unleash all that he is capable of in an unnecessary fashion. Otherwise, he is exacting in his use of power. This has caused Halcyon to be on the defensive early as he assess the situation.

Halcyon is not one to talk much during any type of battle. Only if he has close friends around will he throw out an occasional sarcastic quip. Otherwise, he speaks only to issue orders or keeps a conversation brief and professional. To those who are not close to him, Halcyon will appear to be standoffish and demanding. He utilizes his actions to speak on his behalf while in the midst of combat, rather than words.
