Further, you have commented on the new competition beginning in Yu Circle and have assisted me by evaluating the initial Yu Circle documents. Merlance helped greatly in getting the recent clan competition off the ground. He was able to inspire another DB member to make a mission for it as well as testing that mission for quality. He also helped create a second mission and test that one as well. He had a good amount of activity during the whole of the competition.

Merlance, Equite of the Sith Order, Herald of the Final Way: Since your ascension to knighthood, you have not ceased to impress Clan Tarentum with your high standard of activity. Since early December, you have played over 50 matches in DB sanctioned events like the Tuesday/Thursday gaming events, the ICTE, and Sunday Tournament. Further, you have played 54 matches in the Yu -vs- Tarentum competition. This is impressive effort. In the new year, you have played nearly another 50 matches in the various gaming events. MERLANCE is a senior member of the clan who has been of assistance to me and others in the clan. MERLANCE has, for some time, been in charge of the Clan monthly trivia. While he does not always create it, he is the one who ensures that the trivia gets done, that it is available to members of the clan, and that the award recommendations are put in at the end of the month. MERLANCE has also spoken directly with me about improvements for the clan, and specifically for his house. He also participated in the most recent clan competition. The steel cross is defined in the Codex as being awarded for “Extended service to one's House or Clan. Service includes aiding one's Quaestor or the Aedile with his duties in leading the House or Clan or being a role model for other members to follow.” MERLANCE has offered long term service to this clan and his house and he has aided the summit members in their duties, from running the trivia to getting the medals taken care of to serving as an advisor to the summit. ~Anshar

MERLANCE has shown considerable dedication as a member of Tridens, always encouraging and friendly, encouraging his members to go forth and participate in events. Under his leadership the circle of Nightstalkers has been born with a strong sense of identity and friendship. Donitz and I have spoken many times about Merlance, and we both agree that he is more than worthy of reward. When Donitz was selected as my Aedile, Donitz had ideas for Battleteam reform, and instituted them with the assistance of several new team leaders; Merlance is one of them. Merlance has taken his new duties with great vigor, and has helped to make Donitz's ideas a success in Yu.
