Aabs has been an extremely competent and capable Headmaster. His work has furthered the development of the degree system, overseen the creation and implementation of numerous new courses, and maintained high standards of quality for all aspects of the Shadow Academy, despite very serious and frequent technological obstacles. I couldn't have asked for a better friend or boss during my time as his praetor, and I think the Brotherhood owes him a debt of gratitude for his consistent, levelheaded leadership and his ability to work through adversity. Beyond that, he has been a constant and dependable presence in the Brotherhood for years now, always doing his best to improve this organization without any regard for personal reward. This promotion has been a long time in coming and I have no doubt that he has more than earned it.

I really don't even know where to start. I've worked for Aabs in more than 3 different positions over the last year, and all of them couldn't have been from a better superior. As Special Magistrate, I noticed his initiative for the Shadow Academy and Brotherhood as a whole as he passed down projects that were of his own mind. As full Magistrate, I got a chance to get deeper into his head, and feel him out. He's incredibly versatile when it comes to being Headmaster. His mind is constantly over clocked, and to top all of this off, he does all of this work while maintaining a high profile family and school life. He knows that he has work to do, and pursues every new idea down every avenue until it's energy is completely spent. And of course, as his newly appointed Praetor, I've had the honor of being his right hand and "second brain". Already we've developed a great working relationship and friendship that most leadership teams take months or years to accomplish. I can tell you this, Aabs sincerely has the Brotherhood's best interest at heart, and expect him to be around for a long, long time. Congratulations Boss, a well earned hole in one for you.

Praetor to the Headmaster
Getting to the rank of Elder is always a big deal, and as such the work required to attain such a feet should be equal to it. One of the hardest feats in the Dark Brotherhood is to ensure stability in whatever area you're in. For Aabsdu he has managed it in two different locations. Being Consul of CP is not easy, as controlling such a wide range of personalities can be taxing. During Aabs reign in that position, he brought a sense of normalcy to the regular chaos. He was level-headed in his decisions and was able to work with others on the Dark Council very well. Moving to the role of Headmaster he has continued on that trend of stability, the Shadow Academy running extremely smoothly. The only "hiccups" have been related to the continued injector attacks, but in everything else the SA is somewhere we have never had to worry about. New courses continue to be added, and the degree system was streamlined to become something easy to use, from where it began initially. Overall Aabsdu has succeeded in the roles he has taken, which interact with large swaths of the DB. I believe he has more than earned the right to call himself an Elder. Congratulations

Aabsdu has been the Head Master of the DJB for over a year and his dedication to that position is an impressive attribution to his value to the Brotherhood. Ideas are what keeps the Dark Jedi Brotherhood moving forward and Aabsdu has a boatload for the Shadow Academy. While I have only been SCL for a short time, Aabsdu hasn't hesitated in barraging me with his goals and aspirations for the the Academy. No matter what is improved on the site - a tweak here, a tweak there - the guy always follows up completion with: "When you've had time to breathe, I have some more things that I'd love to have done." That's awesome.
Aside from where he wants to take the Shadow Academy, he's done some great things with keeping that beast moving. He keeps his staff pumping out exam grades; he's spurred the creation of new exams for the DJB; he has enhanced the fictional aspect of the Shadow Academy; has been an AMAZING tester with the current PHP conversion project for the SA; and has been a vital part in the success of the Academy event in the current GJW.
I feel Aabsdu has more than earned this promotion.

To attain Elder status within the Brotherhood is to recognize a career of arduous, selfless work designed not to bolster one's self, but raise the club to a higher plateau. And I believe there are some past Headmasters that would agree... the position is certainly one of self-sacrifice.
Aabsdu's tenure has been highlighted by an expanded selection of courses, new Dark Side Degree availability, a PHP recode (where he integrated new ideas to increase functionality/productivity), not to mention countless other side jobs he performs as a Dark Councilor. He does a good job of keeping the DC, his staff and the members appraised to issues, changes and his vision, as well. His foresight has paved a path for the Shadow Academy to continue to grow upon and I look forward to seeing what additional changes he brings forth during his tenure.
I also wanted to briefly highlight Aabsdu's career as a member. He is insanely active and always moving forward. He approaches each task/challenge with wide eyes and a voracious appetite to complete the project with the highest quality in the quickest time. In fact, that is an attribute he has exhibited since he joined the Dark Brotherhood so many years ago. That sort of high powered, self-starter motor is what all members of our club should strive for. And it certainly remains a pre-requisite for ascension to high level positions within the club's infrastructure. I am honored to be part of his nomination process to Dark Adept and I look forward to what he will do on his path to Dark Jedi Master.

Consul of Plagueis
Aabsdu has thrown his all into the Shadow Academy. During his reign, we have seen several new courses come in, and several go out. Weve seen the SA wiki pages completely renovated, with the Azura and Vespera finally being fleshed out. More recently, he has introduced Fictional updates to his reports, aimed at developing the Shadow Academy, rather that just leaving us floating through space. I was given the honour of writing these, and Im pleased to say that theyve gone marvelously, thanks to Aabsdu. He has introduced some Journeymen Competitions which are also taking off, and are designed to be a quick fix, something that counts towards promotion and activity. Finally, from a more personal point of view, Aabs has expanded my role from someone running trivia to a full member of the Shadow Academy staff and has given me a purpose. Aabsdu, thanks for all youve done for me and the Shadow Academy, you more than deserve this promotion.
Kalak Ragnose, M:HM
Sith Warlord Aabsdu has worked very hard to ensure the Dark Brotherhood's Shadow Academy has continued success and growth. Over the last year he has worked very hard to improve and continue the strong traditions of the Academy. When I brought up the idea to create a Clan Naga Sadow History course, he went above and beyond to assist me in getting the course approved and making sure it was of the standard we have come to expect from the Academy. His effort and hard work do not go unnoticed and I am honored, on behalf of Clan Naga Sadow, to recommend Aabs for the rank of Dark Side Adept.

Consul of Naga Sadow
I've had the pleasure of interacting with Aabsdu since he became HM and before. Under his leadership, the SA has improved even more. New course offerings, expansion of the Degree system, informative reports, and integration of the SA into competitions (as well as having their own) have all been great things. I find Aabs to be cordial, punctual, efficient, and always ready to help or answer questions. I fully support his elevation to Elder status given his long and exemplary service, and it's long overdue. Congratulations, Aabsdu.

As a key administrator in the club, Aabsdu has served not only as consul of plagueis for several months, but also over a year as Headmaster since his last elevation. His constant work to refine and improve the Shadow academy is the most recent evidence that shows his dedication to the club. For these reasons, as well as the reasons listed by many others above, I am pleased to invite Aabsdu di Plagia Dupar into the elders.
