Primary reason: Since Celahir last recieved an award he has been a busy bee, if a sleepy one too. Like those that nap in flowers after collecting ALL the pollen. Since his last award back in March he has been pushing to make up the space for this and, we can happily say he has reached it. With 24 competition participations, only 3 of which from participating in a larger container, Celahir earned 42750 credits for Clan Arcona.

This obviously doesn't speak to Celahir's time spent serving the clan in the past or current, being an active participant in recent conservations and being a stalwhart advisor, nor the previous efforts he's put into awards that far outpaces what is visible here. All I described above simply pushed him over the precipice to this award. I'll let Ood take the stage here, but I'm very proud to be recommending the purplest of stabbies to another of our members.

From the day I first encountered him, Celahir has been impressive. An impish sense of humour, a truly magnificent amount of kindness wrapped up in an earnest and active personality. He’s held positions in every single level of Clan leadership and has also served with distinction on the FIST, SA and SCL staff. As Consul of Arcona, he continued the movement towards modernising the clan into what it is today.

I could write an entire epistle about everything he’s done and still not cover everything. I will however keep this brief. Celahir’s strong presence, peaceful nature and dedication to others which coloured his entire DB career has yet to diminish. Even now that he’s stepped away from the truly monstrous levels of activity he was once known for, he’s still always lingering on Discord. Ready to help when asked or when noticing a need.

Irfan, at some point in the past, you were described as the bridge between the old and the new Arcona. Know this, my friend: Without you, Arcona would not be what it is today. You officially count as one of the old guard now. And still, you’re always around to be of assistance and to bridge that divide. Enjoy this purplish pink dagger!

Additional reasons: I remember when Celahir joined the club. He had a stellar career and I can't wait to see what he'll get up to in the future. I'm quite sure he's not done yet. As to reasons for the medal, it's a bit complex to describe. Most of his activity occured pre-XP system and larges swathes of it were awarded already when the policy was rolled out without being properly described. Further, alot of what he did back then would be considered non-site XP and we're still reconstructing what he did about a decade ago and what bits of it were already covered/rewarded.

It's probably easiest to say that Celahir is the kind of member who is a sociable part of the clan, always willing to help or talk.

Congratulations on the Dark Cross! I hope I'll get to write many more reccommendations for you in the future!
