He is the physical epitome of an accomplished warrior whose skill with the blade borders on the superlative. His is a strength uncommon to most in the Brotherhood, and his years of martial training lends him a fluidity that belies his power.
His skin is a sun-darkened bronze, a product of both genetics and environment, being of Korunnai and Kyataran stock and growing up on a harsh, desert world. His hair is probably his most distinguishing feature, growing impossibly long and flowing seemingly with a life of its own when worn out; elsewise, it is locked, the ends capped with Electrum tips.
Custom Lightsaber "Nenshogeru", pistol (slugthrower or blaster).
Shi Long has overtaken Tsainetomo Keibatsu's physical form and retains his memories - but none of the emotions associated with them; accessing them is like reading a report on a sheet of flimsi.
As a result, nearly every action - outside of combat - is essentially a new experience for Shi, making even the most mundane things, like enjoying a cup of Corellian Whiskey, an absolute delight. While this allows Shi to live fully within each moment, taking him away from these simple pleasures can trigger his more chaotic nature.
Shi Long's personality has usurped the physical body of another, and as a result his mind is highly resistant to mental intrusions, making attempts to use mental-based Force powers against him very difficult for all but the most skilled in the Dark Side. Those who’ve tried have described the experience akin to attempting to untie a Gordian Knot. His own command of the range of Force powers centered in mind-manipulation is questionable, so he relies upon visual and physical cues centered in kinesthesiology and body language from his opponents in order to compensate.
Shi Long is the culmination of a lifetime of martial improvement, and his successive victories over no less than 12 major Brotherhood major campaigns (and countless minor Clan, House and personal skirmishes) have given him an air of superiority over most people he meets. It's not that he's a snob; he just doesn't believe that he can be defeated. Shi Long's tireless quest to face the most skilled of opponents will put him in fights with even the most grossly overpowered as he strives to test his sublime skills, and he will not hesitate to engage anyone who's serious about a scrap. Those who cross his path should know that Shi Long does not believe in sparring: he believes that if you pull it, you better be prepared to use it.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Shi Long's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Shi Long can be said to be a Warrior and an Ideal, both person and abstract born from a lifetime of Warfare and the Force-Sorceries of a nearly forgotten era. Where his host was a killer by trade, Shi Long is a killer by choice. Warfare is exciting to Shi Long; conflict, as essential to his being as breathing. Each death he causes feeds this excitement, and increases his blood-lust exponentially. This passion can often drive him to ignore his mission or orders, making him more of a wildcard than Sai ever was.
Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Shi Long will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in his allies getting wounded or killed.
