Whilst his Lords engaged in their wars in the Brotherhood, Riku abandoned the combat training he had been given. Prior conflicts had left him weary of the front line and seeing the Jedi in action several times had made him realise that soldiers untrained in the Force struggle to comprehend and deal with these mythical warriors. He pushed himself to walk in the shadows, taking up training with an arsenal effective against Jedi and other saber users. The shadows adopted him well and unlocked potential the Nihilgenia never truly thought he could possess.

Content to work alone more than with others these days the clone pushes towards his ultimate goal, being able to best the Keibatsu or make himself known enough to join them

Riku wasn’t born, he was created. A soldier bred for one purpose and in some ways bred to simply know one thing; war. A descendent of the ARC Commando created for the Republic years ago and the Empires SCARs, his skills transcend that of a common soldier but it comes at a price. Bound until death to the Keibatsu family his entire purpose is to serve and die in their name.

Though granted the honour near equal standing amongst the family in recent times he still struggles with the concept of free speech, ideas and will. Loyalty binds him and in conflicts of interest between Clan and Family, he will always put his family first.

Having been grown for for the Keibatsu family, Riku has always wondered does he truly exist as a person. A clone of someone he will never meet, a child born without a father but with dozens of brothers who all claim to be him. The mental scars that have been left as he developed his own sense of self and personality have left trenches of self-doubt and worth. He often wonders if he is worthy of ever holding the Keibatsu name on top of wondering wherever he is worthy of holding the simple title of human.

Unwilling to give up he pushes forward every day. However, as he emerges from the background into the forefront of a Clan he feels the crushing presence of self-doubt begin to emerge once more and old scars begin to open and bleed.

Unwilling to bow, except to the family, Riku believes the sacrifice of one is worth the saving of millions. This belief has no limits going as far as the ideology that full genocide of a planet would be better than the loss of a system. This dark outlook serves him well as a commander, enabling him to go that extra mile needed to secure the victory. He is, however, unwilling to simply sacrifice his own men and fellow Nihilgenia, causing some confusion amongst allies and potentially souring relationships with them as he is seen favouring his own.

Given he believes in the superiority of the Nihilgenia and Keibatsu over that of other beings this makes complete sense to the Commander. After all, if the best fall who would ensure victory was secured?

Infiltration; not a true method to take on armies or those enemies trained with bigger better weapons. For this reason Riku has established himself the skills required to talk to his way out of scenarios via Subterfuge and Manipulation as well as armed with a plethora of gadgets ranging from computer probes to Slice to a grappling hook to allow him to ascend to higher levels for the height advantage a sniper craves. On top of these items, and his most prized possession is the 9D9-s54 Spy Droid Spook. The droid provides top notch tactical data that enables the clone to go about his duties as well as provide backup.

All these tricks and excessive wordplays make Riku over reliant on his tools at times. Not to mention that he lies and controls so often he’s never entirely sure himself what is true and what face he truly wears.

“The shadows consume all” is a saying that Riku keeps to. Trained to be whatever he needed to be to get the job done and do whatever he needed to do to get the job done ensured that no one mission was ever truly the same. Armed with a Scoped T7 Ion Disruption Rifle and Pistol, silenced, for ranged as well as a combination of Hidden Wrist Blade and Electro-Sword for the silent close kills. Should the first strike with the blades fail, then the Poison coating the blades would kick in, inhibiting his opponent allowing for a quick follow up blow.

These weapons aren’t built for sustained long-term combat, and he is fully aware. Riku aims for quick first strike takedowns, utilizing his stealth, martial arts skills, and athletics lest he be cut down by his opponents superior firepower.
