Since her promotion to EQ4, she's participated in 323 competitions, organized 19, and earned dozens of crescents and hundreds of clusters, all while serving as a QUA, PCON, and for the past month as CON of Clan Scholae Palatinae. I have had the extraordinary privilege to watch Rayne grow over the years. I’ve seen her grow as a leader of Clan Scholae Palatinae. What I’ve witnessed has been absolutely monumental…

Rayne is no stranger to the members of CSP. She has always been the Clan and the Clan members’ strongest supporter and encourager. She’s always lurking in the chat to drop a well timed meme, or checking in on how everyone else is doing. Rayne will be the first to congratulate a medal or promotion with fire, as is tradition. She is the cornerstone, the foundation, of CSP.

As a member, Rayne has been absolutely ravenous in her pursuit of elevation. She is out there on the grind competing in everything she possibly can. Since her last promotion, she has completed over 320 competitions. Through which, she’s earned a stack of crescents large enough to choke a large llama. She’s eared over a thousand Clusters of fire, enough to choke an even larger llama. And even as a self-proclaimed non-writer, she’s dived into the world of RP and has managed 8000 words over 7 RP events. She’s ranked up in societies 11 times. And she’s served as QUA, Proconsul, and now as Consul.

Rayne’s path to leadership has been equally amazing. I have seen her unlock her confidence and step up when the Clan has needed her most. Although she was new to the roles each time, she stepped in and began soaking up leadership knowledge like a sponge. With each step up, she learned the ins and outs, while conducting herself with the utmost dignity. She’s become an absolutely model leader. During our time together in the CSP summit, she was absolutely my right hand. Her hard work and dedication led her directly to the Throne that she now sits upon.

When I look over Rayne’s history within the club, she’s always put the community first. She’s been a warm heart and a listening ear for many members of our Clan. She has continually strived to make Clan Scholae Palatinae a fun place to be, where all who share the value of our community can enjoy themselves. Her fun-loving attitude is representative of the vision she has for CSP. She has worked harder than I can aptly put to words to get where she is today. She is truly a testament to how hard work and fun need not be incompatible.

Rayne truly embodies the spirit of what it means to be an Elder. She is a hard-working, helpful, positive steward of our community. I am so fortunate to have been able to witness her growth so far. And I will be equally lucky to watch her continued success as she serves in her newest role as Consul. I am so proud to see her achieve a personal goal that she once thought was impossible. It has been nothing short of amazing. I've been fortunate enough get to see all of her amazingness outside of this organization as well. I am so grateful to have such a special woman in my life.

Trying to quantify Rayne's contributions to CSP would be impossible. I am sure others will speak to her leadership and activity—as they should, as Rayne is a beast at both. Not many people could have convinced me to leave Vizsla and work as PCON for them. But, it wasn't her leadership or activity that brought me back to CSP.

Rayne is a kind, genuine, fire-breathing soul who builds up those around her. To encourage and get to know the members of this club. Working for someone who treats members as Rayne does is a blessing. She embodies all the things an Elder in this club should be. And I am so happy to see her gain the rank of Elder.

Congrats Rayne! Drinks are on you!
