Just got back from a hectic LoA, and I'm ready to get back in the swing of things with a change of pace and scenery, set down some roots and get in touch with the fun of this club again!

There are people in this brotherhood who have worked hard to make things better for their clan and help propel the club forward. This work can take the form in engineering a new clan training program, fleshing out the fictional aspects of the clan, hosting in-depth competitions and generally making the place more immersive and interactive. Vorion has served admirably in his works in Arcona, helping to pen and refine the Shadesworn society within the Shadow Clan. Having set up and worked through a house feud as Proconsul, he helped inspire and participated in two of the strongest run-ons in Arconan history. Having been instrumental in the pre-war preparations in the clan, he also led from the trenches in the early stages of the war, garnering a solid point base in the ACC event, his points adding to the total which would take the first place victory for Arcona. Based on his work, his contributions, and his drive to make things better, it's plain to see that Vorion has been acting above his rank for some time, and it is time I remedied it. My Consul has an ongoing habit of misrepresenting his own constituents. While I have been courteous enough to him to turn a blind eye to his behavior, he has continually disregarded several of the key individuals who put him where he is today. I wish Arcona the best, but it's time I took my leave.

Where to begin. Vorion, you've been a mentor to me since joining Arcona. Having come from a rough patch of egotistical Taldryan folk, you have shown me the meaning of good old fashioned down to earth-hard working class leadership. You've been an active voice in bringing this Clan together since I was appointed to Quaestor, and even more so during the trying times that House Galeres has seen these past few months with it's transition of leadership. If it were not for your undying devotion, I'm quite positive that Arcona would not be above water right at this moment. That said, I'd like to bring into light that Vorion is without a doubt, more deserving of Equite 1 than perhaps anyone in Arcona who has gotten the same promotion in the last year. When one comes to categorise the countless hours DJK Vorion has put into Arcona, one initially struggles to classify what exactly it is that he’s done. This isn’t through a lack of activity, but more a daunting amount of it that leaves one a little bewildered as where one should start. To start with, he served as Aedile of Galeres for nearly a month, ably acting as counsel to both QUA Rho d’Tana and myself during this time. He then was then elevated to Quaestor of House Qel-Droma, where he served with distinction. His first task was to re-jig and organise the two battleteams, which he did ably and took on the mentoring of both BTLs himself. Immediately following this, Vorion led House Qel-Droma into the Clan Feud vs. Scholae Palatinae and Plagueis, where he racked up a considerable score in a wide variety of events, most notably dominating the ACC field. As well as schooling the Palatineans and Plagueians in the ACC, Vorion also found time to create several wiki pages for prominent NPCs in the Arcona Armed Forces and then set the ball rolling with House Qel-Droma’s fictional identity. <br>

Following the Feud, Vorion was a clear choice for Proconsul. Since taking on the position, he has taken it upon himself to completely re-jig the Arcona Prospectus (a formidable task) and widen the scope of his fictional background creation from House Qel-Droma to include the entire clan. On top of this, he has mentored and overseen the reward and promotion of several other members, produced timely reports and guided the Clan’s newer members into comfortable niches within the clan. However, the task which I feel is most deserving of a promotion is Vorion’s ability to support me as Consul by always being 100% honest with me, even if he disagrees with a decision I’m making. He’ll call me on it and make sure I’ve thought it through. His stark honesty has often been the voice of reason I’ve needed to keep me on the straight and narrow. He’s also found out the hard way that ninety nine percent of the work done at the Summit level is conflict mediation and compromise (no easy lesson to learn when just three months ago he was an aedile) and has adapted brilliantly, taking to the handling of our clan’s members like a duck to water – indeed he is very charismatic despite a brusque attitude. Vorion is a first rate Proconsul that is well overdue a promotion. Thanks for everything.<br>
