Alaris has been an excellent right hand during my tenure as Consul of Clan Plagueis, a solid pillar upon which we can build around on our staff. They have been a solid contributor as both an individual participant as well as in the capacity of leadership and mentoring.

As a competitor, Alaris has managed to find plenty of bandwidth in addition to their duties as Proconsul. During the recent Great Jedi War, Alaris submitted to 19 total competitions (while gaining 100% bin participation), earning 1 Gold Nova and an additional 7 top ten placements to bring in 510 points for our Clan during the event. Their points alone accounted for nearly 20% of the points our entire Clan earned, making those contributions absolutely critical as they are the difference between the fourth place our Clan earned and finishing in sixth place. All told, they have participated in 74 total competitions since their most recent promotion, placing in 31 of them to collect 6 Diamond, 7 Ruby, 7 Amethyst, 2 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, 4 Topaz, and 3 Quartz crescents to go along with the aforementioned Nova. Never one to shy away from a good bit of gaming, Alaris has also earned 131 Clusters of Fire and 315 Clusters of Earth across 53 gaming activities. They rounded out their cluster collection over the last seven months with 4 Clusters of Graphite for art and 7 Clusters of Ice for their 2,010 words of fiction. Also, proving that an old dog can always learn new tricks, Alaris also passed 16 Shadow Academy courses and earned a Shadow Academy degree as well.

A remarkable collection of work to be sure, but Alaris also shined in a leadership role while providing support and activities for others. They organized 3 competitions and served as co-organizer on another. Additionally, they earned a scroll of indoctrination and a scroll of the master for first recruiting and then mentoring Nora Olen to the rank of JM4 (though she has since moved on to her first Equite rank). Nora also collected 516 of our Clan's points, so Alaris is also directly or one place removed from responsibility for 35% of the Clan's points. Like I said above, critical contributions. In their role as Proconsul, Alaris has been key at identifying shortcomings and gaps amongst our staff and our processes. Most importantly, Alaris has served directly as a mentor for Khryso Mallus as Quaestor of House Tyranus since the latter moved up from the position of Aedile, providing pivotal instruction to help out with unfamiliar DB processes and administrative features. During the Great Jedi War they served as one of our many dedicated staffers that were encouraging the membership and helping drive our activity levels to increase nearly over 23% when compared to last year's Rite of Supremacy, even as we saw some of our more veteran members able to bring less to the table last year. In short, Plaguies is not where it is right now without Alaris and what they bring to the Summit.

Their service has been exemplary, and both the Clan as a whole and myself in particular are extremely honored to have enjoyed the fruits of Alaris's labor. It had been a while since Alaris had been in the leadership of the Ascendant Clan, but even nearly a decade away was not enough to dull their abilities or drive for our Clan's success.
