REPORT 40

Greetings Clan Naga Sadow,

This has probably been my most inactive period...ever. I'm sorry for not having written a report for the past fortnight, it's been a very hectic time for me, with multiple exams, six months worth of work to do in a fortnight, and various other issues getting in the way of me writing my reports. So, again, sorry for the past fortnight, but, I'm pretty much free for the next 11 weeks, so look forward to developments in the coming weeks, or maybe even days...

As for in-Clan developments, I'm please with the events of the past week, we've had some discussion over the future structure of the Clan, which is good. Though, I still have only heard from a select few, so I can only conclude that the rest of you are not bothered...is that the case? You are aware your lack of actions may cost you your House?

I can only do that which I have been told...if you do not speak up now, it may be too late when you do, so I urge you to voice your views...all of you, as this will affect everyone.

Moving onto the Clan Artisans...what can I say? Not so good. We had a grand total of four participants, that, I'm afraid to say, is terrible. At the same time we have had an AWOL check running, of which all but about six have responded to...

We clearly have a serious problem here, yet, as much as I keep asking, none of you seem to be voicing your problems. I therefore have no option but to say it again:

I cannot help you if you don't tell me what the problem is.

There is clearly a problem, else you'd all actually be participating. Since there is a problem, TELL ME about it. It won't magically go away...and I am starting to lose faith in this Clan again, I didn't want to axe us down to Independant House status, but, I'm starting to think there won't be much sense in retaining any of our Houses...please prove me wrong...

I remind you all that I've expanded the Black Guard system to awarding Dark Crosses to those who win new places in the Guard, take advantage of this easy offer by challenging GhostAngel, Malik or Raistlin in their respective Orders to earn yourself both a new medal, and a place on the Consul's Honour Guard.

Vampyre's Fold

The Vampyre's Fold Run-On continues at http://www.chaoslogic.com/db/message_board and the storyline is really starting to get going. Remember, promotions and medals will be given to the best contributors, at the very least I'll be awarding a few Dark Crosses for activity, though I may upgrade that if enough people start to show some interest. There're over 30 of you in the Clan, so lets see everybody make a contribution!

The Clan Artisans is now OVER.

Only four people have participated...so it won't take long to judge. That said, I need to catch Trev online to discuss the submissions first, so until that happens, I'm afraid you'll have to wait.

House News

I won't lie, so I'll make something clear from today onwards. Due to the structural changes coming, one House, at the minimum, is unlikely to survive. The House that dies, will be the most inactive House, so those not helping their Houses...so the other 30 members of the Clan who didn't participate in the Artisans, are only hurting themselves.

I won't hesitate to axe a House that is hurting this Clan. I won't hesistate to have you removed from this Clan if you're not doing your job. I hate to do this, but playtime is over, we're in a crisis situation here, and have been for two years now. I've done my six months as Consul being nice, but we're not getting anywhere.

Things are going to change, as we're on a downhill slope right now, so either prove me wrong in the next few weeks...or some of you will be looking for new homes.

Final Words

I'm sorry for the sudden mean streak, but, it's evident that the way we've been doing things isn't working, so as I said a while ago: Change is inevitable. Thing's are going to start being done differently, as it's either we change and adapt, or we continue on this nosedive to damnation.

So take heed of this warning:

Clan Naga Sadow no longer has room for those of you not prepared to do anything. This club is a team, and if you're not prepared to help that team, you're not welcome here. If you're just going to drag us down by adding excess weight and not do anything, then we don't want you.

There is more than enough to do. You had the Artisans, you have the Run-On, you have the Message Boards, you have MultiPlayer Nights, you have a Sith Battle Compendium, you have Monthly Krath Competitions...

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR INACTIVITY.

I've accepted the Great Schism may have caused problems, but that was now months ago, so I am no longer going to be accepting it as a problem. If you have further problems, I advise you tell me now, as we're going to be introducing some harsh AWOLing methods with the coming structural changes...so I strongly advise you start pulling your weight, unless you want to end up as just another one in the endless list of Rogues.
